This attractive hotel is located in the Pineda de Mar’s tourist centre. It is separated from the coarse-sand, 3 kilometre-long sandy beach by a promenade and a railway track. The centre is only minutes away and offers plenty of shopping and entertainment opportunities. Worthwhile excursions include Barcelona which is 55 km away and may be reached by making use of public transport. The nearest bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel (25 m away).

172 non-smoking rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Our second visit this year to this amazing hotel. Our room was perfect with a spectacular sea view. The staff are always pleasant and polite, they keep the hotel immaculate. The food is excellent and there is a huge and varied choice. They go the extra mile for their guests to ensure their comfort and enjoyment.     The Aqua Promenade and Spa Hotel is a lovely little hotel in the middle of Pineda de Mar. The beach is just across the road and we had a beautiful sea view room. The staff at this hotel are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the pool area, the location, the cleanliness of everything and the food and drinks were of very good quality.     Could not fault the hotel, excellent choice of food, some repetitions but that understandable, pick your times for meals as can get a little hectic, staff excellent, polite and courteous, cleaners very good also, only downside is the pool , we have just come home and the sun doesn’t hit the pool area until 2-30 pm, means the pool is cold, beach is a 2 minute walk so we split our days, all in all a very good hotel AQUA Hotel Grup, General Manager at Aqua Hotel Promenade & Spa, responded to this review Thank you very much for your wonderful review!     Prior to travelling we emailed the hotel to ask a few questions. They responded quickly and were happy to give the information we needed.Our choice of accommodation was the penthouse suite. On entering the suite there is a staircase which leads up to the actual room. Lighting on the staircase is activated by a PIR.The air conditioned room itself is very big, sliding doors leading to the balcony which has ample space for 2 sunbeds, 2 very comfortable chairs 2 small side tables and a huge bath. Perfect for our needs.The bed, for us, was a little hard. The hotel is directly opposite the beach and as others have mentioned, there is a train line between the two. The noise of the train wasn't really an issue for us but I can understand people who say it is a problem. The beach is accessed by an underpass underneath the railway track.Food is very subjective but we always found plenty of choice.We stayed half board but it is easy to swap the evening meal for lunch which we did one day. We were pleasantly surprised at what was available for lunch and depending on cost we would consider doing full board if we get the chance to return.We had asked the hotel a few questions prior to travel including asking for an extra cot to be put in our room as our daughter, her boyfriend and their young daughter were also staying at the hotel. As with everything we asked, nothing was too much trouble.So to summarise.A good value hotel with staff who aim to please.Thanks for a most enjoyable holiday.     Hotel very is clean. All staff are very friendly. Good opptions at meal times, resturant staff were lovely. Pool was a bit of a disapiontment as only got the sun at about 5-30 in the evening. This could be because we went in september though.It was well maintained and clean. The beach was great for us, although not great for children as dips in depth very quickly and stoney. All in all we had a lovely week. The train line runs infront of hotel, but it didnt bother us. There is plenty of underground walk ways giving accsess to the beach. There is an Italian resurant attched to the hotel which l highly recomend. Food is excellen and staff are great.
