    Sorry, won’t be returning!

    rating15 Jul 2025

Location is great, 2 minutes from beach. Mainly locals stay here. Reception and bar staff are welcoming. Food was good but could have had more kid friendly food like burgers, nuggets for fussy kids. Kitchen manager was rude to customers and staff, was very uncomfortable to see. We had a sea view which was located by the communal bins which the hotel puts all the rubbish which overflowed. This made the room smell awful constantly. Room was dirty when we arrived. Sofa bed was broken and underneath it was filled with dust. No basic’s like kettle, iron. Had to pay for a fridge in the room. Bath plug broken. The balcony rail was cracked and frail and I did not allow my kids to hold on to it. Covers were not clean. No duvet in room but more of a throw which was bobbly and seen better days. Decor of hotel dated. There was no entertainment on some days and no music in the bar, so kids were bored in the evening. Thought having access to blaumar hotel across the road would mean more entertainment but they only put it on one or the other, not both. This may be a cheap hotel but you will end up paying for everything, even water on a board basis. Not sure how this hotel got 5 star reviews, but suspicious! Would not return even if it was for free.

DISGUSTING IN EVERY WAY. UNSAFE. DATED. DIRTY. RACIST. NEGATIVE

    rating10 Jul 2025

THIS HOTEL IS DISGUSTING IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. A disgrace to spain it should not exist. As soon as we walked in there were large cracks welcoming us as we walked through the glass door. I thought it was one little imperfection. Minor right? WRONG. Our whole stay was an imperfection if i could swear i would because it is utterly a disgrace. The decor is dated and ugly like we are stuck in time capsule or just in the 70s. They dont even clean the room properly. There were white stains on our bed covers. (btw they dont even give you a duvet) The food is uneatable, even the flies that land on the food dont eat it cause its that bad. (many flies especially on the cheese and meat). We only stayed for 5 days and we wanted to go home within the first hour we arrived. The rooms are too dated and the balcony even had a crack in it, it is so unstable and you can shake it and it moves so much. too much. Especially with kids around, so unsafe. The hotel also had a negative vibe. No one smiles at you, or interacts. BUT ONLY BECAUSE ITS RACIST TOO! WOW i know another imperfection. We were targeted by one man “the boss” who constantly would question us and tell us we cant sit in certain places which is fair enough but as we turn around there is 3 tables of Caucasians sitting in that area. I guess they dont like ethnic people. The workers wisper about you and the guests look down on you. I CONSTANTLY FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE. FOR THE SAKE OF YOURSELF, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR LIFE. DO NOT COME.

    Would not return

    rating10 Jul 2025

NEVER WILL RETURN!!! This hotel is like being in a time capsule for stuck in the 70’s! Haven’t seen a bida for some time but you’re in luck if you want one. Decor is dated with no mod cons. Room did not even have a kettle, hair dryer, water, literally nothing. Food was same every day consisting mainly of fish and you have to pay for your own drinks. Would have thought water would be free. Literally they charge you 3.50 for tap water. Room floor was unclean and balcony banister felt a bit loose. Entertainment was non existent. Would not recommend for a family holiday.

    The WORST Hotel

    rating21 Oct 2024

The worst hotel I ever stayed. Rooms small, smelly. You have to pay for fridge in your room, good they didn't charge for the beds. For Towels to be change you have to pay, parking pay...water paid...It left me such a bad impression, I won't be back in Spain any time soon and never to this hotel, its better to live in the tent on the beach.

Blanes fab hotel not so much

    rating10 Sept 2024

Would hardly call this 4 star , was very basic , cramped and eating dinner was like eating in someones basement. That said the beds were extremely comfy and breakfast was pretty decent , although i draw the line at vodka shots first thing !The very small , not depicted properly in pics swimming pool is outside , with two roads either side of it , there is no privacy around the pool so every man and his dog can stare at you as they walk past. With this factor and the fact that it became human soup with small kids constantly floating in it , we hit the beach which was literally 2 minutes walk away , this is lovely ( watch out for jellyfish) and you can catch the Tourisme train across the road from the hotel , this takes you all the way up the beach promenade to the other lets say more classy end of Blanes , where there is an abundence of shops , gorgeous restaurants and bars and also the botanical gardens.Food and drink here is really cheap in Blanes itself and people predominately speak spanish so was nice to practice and of course Catalan, the hotel is ideal as a cheap base but we spent hardly any time in it apart from sleeping. Most guests are European which is nice if you also want to practice your French lol.Other than that it felt very safe and secure , no rowdy brits and definitely no " full cooked english breakfast" if you are looking for a nice authentic getaway this is for you , maybe not the hotel mainly Blanes itself.
