Pay a few quid more to go anywhere else

    rating27 May 2026

Oh dear, would not recommend. The hotel is in a prime location but that is about all the positively I can share.Rooms are dated and feel dirty.Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner, limited choice and you are lucky if you can even get a knife and fork.People, because it's cheap it attracts pond scum; in my 3 days there I could hear people arguing every night, one guy threw a chair of the 5th floor balcony and another started fighting with ambulance crew after the attended his injured wife who he hurt. The people there literally sat round the pool all day getting smashed to the point where the hotel had to limit alcohol, the ridiculous behaviour from some quests was tolerated instead of getting the police to remove them.Snack bar is literally leftovers from breakfast and dosent get replenished.Highly recommend the actual town of Calella, especially the beautiful old town but do not go to this hotel unless on a Stag doo.

    Hotel Terror

    rating27 May 2026

Wow! I’ve been in some terrible hotels in my time on lads holidays ect but this one takes it to a whole new level. Im not a fan of an all inclusive in general cause I like to get around the area for meals ect but as we where all inclusive I thought we’d give it a try. We attempted the breakfast on the first morning and I couldn’t physically stomach it. How on earth do you do that with eggs! Scrambled eggs (egg soup) but we thought never mind let’s just have a coffee, no cups! We tried our luck a few times in the restaurant if you can call it that but I couldn’t stomach any of it, and you were lucky to get any cutlery. We gave up on the hotel food and just ate out the rest of the holiday. We used the pool and bar area a couple of times but again that was awful! Very small choice and you were lucky to get a plastic cup for your drink! And having to pay for a sangria in a Spanish all inclusive is ridiculous. The drinks you did get included where small cans of awful lager and premixed cocktails that tasted like sugary water. We got talking to a few people in the bar and pool area and everyone had the same complaints we did and I think you’d struggle to find anyone that liked the hotel and that’s why the few good reviews are a bit suspicious to me. Rooms are shocking beds might aswell be sheets on the floor, we where a family of 4 and we were all crammed in one small space with one bed blocking the wardrobe, the paneling outside bathroom was hanging off with nails poking out which isn’t ideal having two small children and the bathroom was dark and gloomy with mould everywhere. One night after getting in we decided to sit on the balcony and have a few drinks and play cards, 2-3 hands in the outdoor lights went off! So we had to give up on that too. I literally have nothing positive to say about this hotel. Everything about it is awfulBUT! We had a great holiday, we ate out for every meal and all of them were brilliant. I’d highly recommend Kings next to McDonald’s, there chicken satay skewers are amazing! We paid for loungers on the beach directly down from the hotel most days and that was lovely too. The kids had a brilliant time and so did we. Great holiday, terrible hotel

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    rating27 May 2026

WOW ive never been to prison but im sure its alot better. Food basically inedible had to eat out. All-inclusive haha what a joke dont even get the basic kettle in room and not allowed to bring drinks from restaurant so forget sitting on the balcony with a brew on the morning or any time of day. Staff are rude and not helpful. Our door wouldn't open and they told us its our fault for not being in the room when maintenance came 3 days after we arrived. This is just the little things the hotel is a joke and needs to be shut down!!!!!!

    Don’t bother!!

    rating26 May 2026

The only thing that is good about this hotel, is its location. Upon arriving, I stood for 25 minutes waiting to be checked in, even though there was only 1 couple in front of me, who happened to also get off the coach with us, once the receptionist finally got too me, she then proceeded too start helping a Spanish couple that were waiting behind me, then went on too answer 2 separate phone calls. Couldn’t find my booking on the paper work, even though it was on the computer screen, was very rude towards me, as if it was my fault she couldn’t find our booking. The room itself was basic, but no issues, clean and tidy. What you would expect from a 3 star hotel. After getting settled and venturing down to check out the bar and pool area, we were greeted to another holiday maker trying too have a row with the bar man, this was 2.30pm. The staff were rude, the bar man was moody and very particular about where you were meant to stand too be served, acted like he didn’t even want too be there…which wouldn’t surprise me, as neither did we want too be there….you was only allowed 1 drink per person at 1 time, even though I paid extra for all inclusive, breakfast, lunch and dinner was limited, even though there was the set hours of being served, they didn’t accommodate to the full time limit, once it was gone, it was gone….bar snacks, total joke…🤣🤣…non existent…there was some cold hot dog sausages, cold fatty bacon strips and some random cold egg flan, that had clearly been left over from breakfast. This was at 3.30pm, and some stale muffins at the back of the bar…,Didn’t even bother attempting to sit around the pool, as it was full of rowdy drunk lads and their families….1 night of entertainment in the 5 nights we were there, which was only karaoke, and only about 6 tables with 4 chairs round each, nowhere near enough sitting area to accommodate the amount of hotel rooms and people. They ran out of vodka the second night, and proceeded too just chuck us two plastic cups of white wine! And the next night they ran out of Coca Cola. We ended up spending the whole holiday at the beach, which was actually amazing, beautiful sights, plenty of shops for souvenirs, and plenty of restaurants that serve amazing food. If I were to go back too that area again, I would definitely choose a different hotel. This one was a waste of money. Very disappointed.

    Appalling.

Now I booked this after reading the poor reviews and thought let me find out for myself. The reviews did NOT lie. Where do I start. I understand we are in Spain but the hotel staff could not understand ANY English. I had a soy allergy and none of the food is labelled. I tried to ask the staff and they said it was fine. No it wasn’t fin, I had to do a trip down to the pharmacy. Moving onto the food. Good lord. I am not a picky eater and I will always try what’s given. There are 8 options for food, including a suspicious ‘gravy and a watered down tomato sauce. There were no labels so it was a guess every night to know what meat I was eating, if I ate at all. The food was bland, fatty and the lack of options was appalling. I’d never wished for a frozen pizza so bad. The pool area is tiny and only had about 15 sunloungers and about 7/8 tables. It was ridiculous. The ‘entertainment’ is 2 nights of karaoke which the staff for that are extremely rude. I witnessed them set up the karaoke machine and put on a song and as some of the guests to continue singing and to put on a new song if they had not arrived back. The guests did just that and the staff starting going mental. Getting up in women’s faces and shouting in Spanish. It was very threatening and uncivilised. Now moving onto the room. As we arrived there was hair all over the bathroom sink, there was mold all over the radiator and for someone with asthma that’s my worse nightmare. There was ONE plug socket in the room and ONE in the bathroom. I have a CPAP machine and had to move the furniture around in order to use it. The lift broke on the first day we were there, luckily were able bodied and we were able to go up the stairs but many wheelchair users left without. The staff were very rude and uncaring, now I know brits can be roudy but at this point they were just rude for the sake of being rude. The noise level was terrible. The walls are INCREDIBLY thin that I could actually hear my neighbour snoring. There is nothing in the room, no kettle, no cups, no coffee just 2 towels and loose hair everywhere. I would NOT go back here again and I really do advice people to check the reviews before booking, I wish I had done the same. the ONLY thing this hotel has going for them is that it is just across from the beach. My and my partner spent all day at the beach as being in that hotel was just unbearable.
