  Avoid at all costs shocking hotel no entertainment food is horrendous dinner and tea rice ,pasta bread same.food every night andday ams if your lucky some.yellow chicken and undercooked pork drinks were so weak and only allowed one at a time even if your a couple rooms are so undated .the staff apart from 1 dont know how to smile. Pool is tiny and freezing faulty towers comes to mind

  DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!This is without doubt the worst hotel that I have ever had the misfortune of staying at.The food is cold and not cooked properly.Our room and no ceiling light, one socket and no AC or fan, the balcony looked over the rear of the hotel, I say balcony, imagine the walkways of a prison as that is genuinely what it resembles.There was a storm when we were there and there was water running down the internal corridor walls.Worst of all are the staff, nothing short of rude, aggressive and nearly violent towards guests, including myself. There is a derelict hotel opposite the Terramar, staying there would be preferable to this hotel.I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT STAY HERE!!

  PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! PAY MORE AND GO SOMEWHERE ALOT NICER.Absolutely terrible!!! Been here 3 days and had 2 arguments already. the bar manager is very rude and slammed his hand down on the table in anger when talking to us, we argued with him to talk and not be so rude he turned all lights off in the pool area and told us all to get inside as its closing. The lady on the service desk was rude, didn't want to talk to me outside about a situation with the bar man but came out to argue with me ..outside...about bringing blankets down to the pool area as we had no towels!!! The staff are ridiculously rude and have no idea what we are saying. The reception inpolitely said, that if we dont have a problem with them, they wont have a problem with us! not very hospitable, so you cannot complain about anything otherwise they have a problem with you. Our room has 4 single beds in it and only 1 plug which is for the TV. Not good for families of more than one or even with kids that have any devices to charge. The food is shocking!!! No options for vegetarians unless you want to eat pasta everyday. also no allergy information. Very basic and boring and serves the same each day for lunch and dinner. only one serving unit of food. Its rubbish. The hotel is not nice at all, we paid for all inclusive and have had to eat out everyday, the drinks are limited and told constantly one drink per person, you cannot get a round. Even accused us of providing alcohol to the kids as they were with us when ordering a round of drinks. They are very syrupy and weak as hell. Not a good selection at all. the staff told other guests that they were drinking their drinks too fast and to slow down because they were ordering to soon after the first drink.We had lose tiles in our room and 2 dim wall lights, couldn't see properly at all. Very basic rooms and bathroom. The whole place could do with a good revamp. online the rooms show a completly different picture to whats actually occuring at the hotel, LIES! its a shamble and false advertisement. Infestation of ants in the bathroom and beds, also cockroach sprays being used throughout the hotel that were left outside the door for days. the rooms were not cleaned and balconies never got touched.THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL IVE STAYED IN. the other guests have all experienced the same thing, we also have no fridge, kettle or TV remote for the TV. My friends had one remote and TV is all in Spanish.No entertainment or music throughout the pool area... just very basic, I wouldn't even rate it 3 star... more like 1star, when in the pool, was told we couldnt have towels or inflatables for the kids. Alot of rules and no fun.Unfortunately the weather was rubbish all week with thunderstorms and rain so that ruined it for us aswell. Honestly worst holiday in spain I've ever had!The location is fantastic 2mins walk to the beach, shops all very close by. This is The only positive thing.Travel group

  Shocking place , my first solo holiday i wanted to leave as soon as I walked into my room on 5th floor , very worn out hotel and NO AC, FOOD is absolutely disgusting drinks no choice of beers , Absolute murder on last night fights, screaming went on from 12 till 6am Some staff are nice some are very rude ,have no time for anyone only good thing was the pool

  ?? 1/5 – Extremely disappointing stayWe came to Hotel Terramar with my boyfriend and his aunties to celebrate my 20th birthday, and unfortunately the hotel really ruined what should have been a special holiday.We found ants in our room, which was extremely disappointing and made us uncomfortable during our stay.The food was completely inedible for us. We booked an all-inclusive holiday, yet the food was so poor that we ended up having to go out and find other places to eat. Having to spend extra money on food when we had already paid for all-inclusive was incredibly frustrating.We also found some of the hotel staff to be rude and unhelpful, which made the overall experience even worse. There was also little to no nighttime entertainment, leaving very little to do in the evenings.What makes it even more disappointing is that Calella itself is beautiful. The area, beaches and atmosphere have so much to offer, and we really enjoyed being there. Unfortunately, the hotel completely took away from the experience and put a real dampener on what was supposed to be a memorable 20th birthday holiday.Overall, we paid for an all-inclusive experience but found ourselves having to leave the hotel to eat and find things to do. Between the ants, poor food, lack of entertainment and disappointing customer service, we would not stay at Hotel Terramar again.Such a shame, because the area of Calella is beautiful — the hotel just ruined it for us.
