Location

This charming apartment hotel is situated in Calella. It lies around 500 metres from the centre of town and its tourist attractions, and lies close to the main roads in the area. Furthermore, the establishment is surrounded by other hotels, as well as restaurants, supermarkets and pubs. The beach is just 200 metres away, whilst the commercial district and picturesque old town are roughly 500 metres from the accommodation. The local bus stop is 2 minutes' walk away, and Calella train station can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. Nearby towns and attractions include Marineland (10 km away), Girona (45 km away) and Barcelona (55 km away). Girona-Costa Brava Airport and Barcelona Airport are approximately 45 and 65 km from the accommodation respectively.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 15 studios. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. Our room was spotless, cleaned every day with fresh towels daily. Perfect location, close to the old town, the beach, both supermarkets. Staff were really friendly, lovely terrace for everyone to sit out on. Would recommend

    Well, what a pleasant surprise this was. From arrival to departure, the staff couldn't do enough for you (particularly the receptionist with blonde hair, glasses and the gorgeous red shoes. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. towels changed and loo roll provided. All appliances were of a high standard. They're are above some bars/nightclubs that were very noisy but we were never disturbed by this owing to the adequate double glazing. We really can't fault a thing, if we were going to be picky, we would have liked more cutlery etc because we are too laxy to wash up regularly. Thanks to all staff, top job. Every time we passed the cleaners or the maintenance man they always greeted us.

    Rested with my daughter in this hotel in 2018. It was quiet, because the bar downstairs did not work. The hotel has everything you need: an excellent full-fledged kitchen, a full-size refrigerator, a comfortable double bed, air conditioning, a hairdryer, an iron, a clothes dryer, an ironing board, a TV (2 Russian channels). Not all rooms have a balcony. But there is a great terrace where you can sit and sunbathe. Go to the sea for 5-7 minutes on foot. The beaches are clean, sand is sifted every day. They offer to rent deck chairs and umbrellas, You can save money by buying an umbrella to buy in a store, of which there is an abundance in the city.The room is cleaned every day. Several times left a tip - did not take. Give out two keys. Free wi-fi. On the opposite side of the hotel there is a reception and a free small pool, as well as a luggage room with a price of 2 euros.Free parking is terribly small. There are several places near the hotel Olympia and the President. Put there only once. The rest of the time all the seats were occupied. Parking for 24 hours costs 6 euros.

    These apartments look WAY better on the inside than the building would lead you to believe! Really modern and clean rooms in a decent location, around 10 mins walk from the beach and main areas of town. It was also very good value with a yummy breakfast included at the café opposite. We didn't use the swimming pool so cannot comment but all in all, a good place to stay!

    A mixed review from me. The room was adequately equipped, with a nice kitchenette that would cater to most needs. No oven though. Location was great. 2 minutes to a supermarket and the main city, similar distance to the beach.I visited during the off season. Whole resort was fairly quiet. I can imagine how this location would be very nice during peak season, when the city is bustling with tourists. However, be aware of a few things....The walls are paper thin. In the morning, when people are moving about having breakfast, the noise will make it impossible to sleep if you are a light sleeper. Chairs sliding, doors banging, toilets flushing, you hear it all. I had a room on the back side of the block. Which meant I had 1 window. Not the most inspiring. However there was a terrace where you would sit and have breakfast, and that is nice.All in all I would say it would suit most needs. I was here to take advantage of the weather and get out on my bike, and needed extra rest which did not work well. My cleaner insisted on changing my towels every day. At 10am. Also be aware that you do not have access to the facilities in Safari Apartments during the offseason.
