  Excellent, clean, value for money.

  04 Oct 2026

I paid €49 for 1 night B & B at the end of September. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Receptionists were very helpful, I tried to use my Spanish speaking skill and the staff were very patient. Our luggage was kept in secure room both before after check-in/out. Breakfast was self service and had lots on offer, both hot and cold items. The pool is rather small but few guests were using it. There was information regarding a new pool for 2027.In a pleasant area, close to the beach. I would not hesitate to recommend. Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel Don Juan Tossa, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to send us your rating. We are delighted that you found your stay at Hotel Don Juan Tossa de Mar such excellent value. Your kind words about our spotless housekeeping and the helpfulness of our reception team mean a lot to us.We are also glad you enjoyed our breakfast buffet and its wide selection of hot and cold dishes. It is great that our luggage storage made your arrival and departure more convenient. That said, we note your thoughts on the pool being on the small side. We are happy to share that a new pool is indeed planned for 2027, which we hope will enhance future stays.Nonetheless, we are thrilled that you appreciated our pleasant setting so close to the beach. Knowing you would not hesitate to recommend us is the finest compliment we could receive. We look forward to welcoming you back on a future visit. Sincerely,Dirección-Hotel Don Juan Tossa

Central Hotel in Tossa de Mar

  20 Sept 2026

Extremely clean hotel. Very central location, near to beaches, old town, shops. Shower was excellent and the staff friendly. The only feedback is that the meals were not always warm and could do with being hotter. I would stay here again and also would recommend. Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel Don Juan Tossa, responded to this review Dear Guest,We appreciate your candid feedback. We are delighted that you found our hotel extremely clean and that our team made you feel welcome throughout your stay. Our central spot in Tossa de Mar clearly worked well for your visit, and we are glad the shower and the overall comfort of the room added to your experience.Still, we are sorry that the temperature of the meals did not always meet your expectations. Our staff is always on hand to assist should anything need attention during service. We will pass your comments on to the Chef. Finally, we truly appreciate that you would choose to stay with us and that you would recommend our hotel. That means a great deal to us.We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.Sincerely,Dirección-Hotel Don Juan Tossa

  Good hotel, great location!

  30 Jun 2026

We travelled as a group of six friends aging from 40-76 and opted for all inclusive. We got a really good deal and found it excellent value for money. The majority of staff are fabulous, really helpful and friendly. The lady at the bar helped us set up a little party area to celebrate two birthdays which was lovely. The reception was modern and comfortable with a children’s gaming area to one end. Lifts were quick and the layout was quite easy to follow. All meals were served in the restaurant, although you could pay extra at the bars for snacks. The food was good with a wide selection. I was a bit surprised that there were no ice creams around the pool bar. Pool was an adequate size but we did struggle to get a sunbed one day, maybe the hotel could provide more sun beds on the level below where there were tables and chairs? Take your own beach towels as these are not provided. Rooms were nicely decorated, very clean, modern and quite spacious as we had a triple room. Nice balcony overlooking a quiet road. No traffic noise apart from the bins being emptied one day so we all slept well. Bathroom had a good powerful hairdryer, shampoo and body wash provided. Would have liked a mirror above the dressing table. There is also a handy fridge, although no kettle. Location is fab, 2 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops nearby. The town itself is gorgeous, lots of lovely restaurants and shops/bars. I feel I have stayed in better 4 star all inclusive hotels before but for the price we paid we were really happy! Would’ve appreciated some water in our room or at reception due to a late arrival (there is a vending machine. it was broken). I also think that the AI could’ve been explained/advertised better As it didn’t match what was advertised on the room cards or what we were told at check in. Just some minor improvements to suggest but we had a great weekend, would recommend! Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel Don Juan Tossa, responded to this review Dear Sally,We really appreciate your feedback. We're delighted our central location worked well for your group's exploration of Tossa de Mar and that you found our team members welcoming. Our staff takes pride in creating memorable moments like your birthday celebration setup. However, we regret the confusion about our all-inclusive offerings. We have noted your sunbed suggestion. It's wonderful you appreciated the space and modern comforts of your room. We're particularly pleased that you were able to get a good rest, and that our proximity to both beach and local shops enhanced your Costa Brava experience. We hope that we may be able to welcome you back.Best wishes,Dirección-Hotel Don Juan Tossa

Nice hotel, close to the beach

Great experience! We spent 8 days here, a family of four. Specious superior room with balcony, nicely decorated. Modern and spacious bathroom. Clean and comfortable rooms. Half board service with a variety of food choice. The staff is very polite and customer oriented. The pool area is on the top of the hotel, reachable by elevator or escalator. Great time in a lovely hotel.

  12 Jun 2026

Just returned after having 9 nights at Don Juan Tossa Hotel and what a great time we had. Hotel lovely and modern and in a great location. There were two things we found wrong and one was the inaccessibility to get to the pool because of my mobility issues. The other was the breakfast. It was impossible to chew the bacon and the sausages weren't good. Serve sausages for breakfast that were available at other meals. They were great. All in all you've got a great hotel and we hope to return next year. Thanks. Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel Don Juan Tossa, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We’re thrilled you enjoyed our modern accommodations and found our location ideal for exploring Tossa de Mar.It’s us to hear you appreciated the quality of dishes served during lunch and dinner. Our chefs take pride in crafting varied menus, and we’re glad this enhanced your experience. That said, we regret the challenges you faced accessing certain areas and the breakfast not meeting expectations. We offer accessible rooms and facilities for guests with mobility needs in the hotel in general. With regard to accessibility to the pool, improvements are planned for this area ahead of the coming season. We’ll review our morning offerings to ensure an improvementFinally, our team is delighted our central position allowed you to easily reach the beach and local attractions within minutes. It would be a pleasure to welcome you again in the future.Kind regards,Dirección-Hotel Don Juan Tossa
