All good except breakfast

What is usually one of the best meals for me breakfast is very disappointing. Not always yoghurts availiable a huge pile of cold eggs every day. cold sausage and bacon sat in piles of grease. What is weird is a group of single men staying permanently at the hotel.

Basic 90s looking place. Restaurant was average at best. Super cheap wine at dinner, bar man in the bar was very nice and so were the reception staff. It’s strange to stay in a hotel where many people mainly men were living. They were not of any kind of threat or being anything other than minding their own business but it’s odd to have a hotel with loads of people living there. For a couple of days it was fine but I wouldn’t return. I think it’s pretty off to charge 35 euros for guests to use the rooftop pool. On the one hand there are people living there, the other hand guests who can’t access the amenities it’s a weird set up but overall fine. I guess it’ matches the vibe of Calella it’s not the gem of the Costa brava but a fine beach trip from Barcelona.

Excellent welcome and support at reception, ladyes always with smile and helpfull to answer all of our questions. Food was according our expectation, very good. Services during breakfast or dinner were good. I recommend to choose this hotel :)Tibor&Monika

Definitely not 4 star. Breakfast wasn't bad but if you wanted cooked one most of it was cold. Evening meals nothing special to talk about. Staff in restaurant mostly miserable. Manager in restaurant arrogant. Sweets not labelled so didn't know what they were not safe if you have allergies. Room basic and noisy at night and doors constantly banging . Reception staff very helpful and polite. Close to beach and local amenities which was good.There were alot of immigrants staying too, sat outside all day smoking and on phones one was filming women walking past which is not good. Will definitely not be going back.
