  Lovely place only just opened for easter ,staff are so atentive and very welcoming food is brilliant and prices rooms are spotless and well looked after.BIG Thank you to the bar staff for looking after us

  We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a wowcher holiday, ignore the bad reviews as you get what you pay for here and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel! The staff were very kind and helpful and helped us organise taxis whenever we needed. We didn't use the pool as it wasn't the weather for it but it looks very good for kids. We didn't use the kitchen other than the microwave but there was a bottle opener in the room so we had everything we needed!! I would recommend this hotel to others and would come back here again! Breakfast buffet wasn't the best but it did the job and being far away from other bits it was easy!

  Really Pleasant Stay

  My cousin and I take at least one mini break a year but normally city breaks, so this was a bit different and it really didn’t disappoint given the prices we paid via Wowcher Holidays.Had no expectations so we were both very pleasantly surprised with the experience .We flew into Girona and hired a car which took about 50 minutes to drive. We arrived to a lovely welcome from Fran who gave us the great news that we had been upgraded to a sea view room on the 4th floor of the main building.The apartment was perfectly equipped for a 3 night stay, not sure if we’d have managed so well if we were planning to cook in there however.But, perfectly clean, comfy bed, shower gel and shampoo a nice touch but the best by far was the amazing view and sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down.The hotel was very quiet leading up to winter closure so not too many noisy guests or children and the 10pm to 10am silence curfew was well respected.Not a lot open in the resort but we found a few places for food and drink and ate in once, my cousins meal was great, mine not so much but other snacks and things we had were fine. Reduced menu, ie there was lots not available given they are obviously running down supplies.The pool area was well maintained and the kiddies facilities brilliant and they were all having a great time.We found the staff in general were very friendly and approachable except for one receptionist who was not remotely interested in our enquiries and not helpful in any way at all. Having worked in hospitality myself in the past and being in a forward fronted job, you have to be the sort of person who likes to go above and beyond for guests who are spending their hard earned money on a holiday, especially for those with young families. Very attractive girl, unattractive attitude! All in all a really pleasant stay in a great value, unpretentious, well run family business. Not sure I’d want to visit in the height of summer though!

  We were there from the Thursday (30/10) to the Sunday (02/11) and on arrival we were dropped at the drop off point by the coach, we called the number and a lovely member of staff came in the wee van and drove us up the wee hill to the main reception. We checked in and were given room A303 which was just behind the reception and didnt get any sunshine. The room itself was massive big double room, lovely bathroom with shampoo, shower gel and hand soap as well as a hair dryer. We had 4 big massive towels that were brilliant. The living room and kitchen area was big and had everything we needed (we dont cook on holiday) We had an issue with the TV (like to listen to music) but it was sorted by the time we came back from dinner that evening. They also give you pool towel tokens and when exchanged you get your pool towel these again were great big towels and you can change these everyday if you wish.The restaurant in the accomodation was okay the pizza was nice and the fries were amazing lots of people around us ate there most days.It is about a 15 minute walk from the accomodation to the beach and main strip with shops, restaurants and bars. When we were there it was just about close of season so some places were closed already, and most other places didnt open until 9am. The hotel put on a wee bus to take you to the supermarket and the beach and this runs from 10.00am - 6.00pm they will do multiple runs until everyone has been picked up and dropped off. We walked it back and the only struggle is the last wee hill at the hotel the rest of the walk is flat on the way there and back.The noise from other residents can't be helped but I just wish people would be more mindful when heading back to their rooms as the bedrooms face onto the main path.Overall we had a lovely 3 day break but the distance from Barcelona airport to the accomodation puts me off coming back an 1 hour and 40 minutes after an early start

  Just returned from a seven night stay. I’ll jump to the negatives as unfortunately, these outweighed the positives for us. Noise - terrible at night and we constantly had broken, disrupted sleep. We paid for premium sea view rooms which were directly above the restaurant. The hotel had a zero noise policy after 10pm but the music and noise went on until circa 11.30pm. Following this was noise of people returning to rooms, kids screaming, doors banging, bottle banks being emptied in the small hours. Walls are thin. The hotel has no double glazing and doors banging and clashing all day long. Cleaning - I was surprised that there was absolutely no cleaning throughout the week. We had to ask for changes over bedsheets and towels on day 4. The bathroom was in need of a clean after a few days and no products to help with this. Bin bags were left to replace the first but these were tiny and didn’t fit the kitchen bin. I found black hairs over the apartment and across the towels which did not come from our party. Staff - with the exception of the cleaners and one other staff member, staff at this hotel really could improve their customer service skills. Also, suggest the lifeguards should be watching the pool rather than having heads buried in their mobile phone. Room set up - following a day of travel, it was disappointing to find on another jet2 holiday that there was only one bed made up for four people, when you’ve booked nine months in advance and the party size is known, I’d expect this to be considered. It’s frustrating having to constantly share a bed with a child. Halloween evening was great entertainment wise, but the competition for children’s dressing up was unfairly biased on certain children in the resort. It was unfair to single out only three children for prizes when so many children had made an effort, some children were not even invited up on the stage.
