    Overall good

    rating18 May 2026

We visited last week. Overall we had a good experience. The hotel was clean, the food was ok although hard to tell what meats were what. We loved the pools / slides, sun loungers were great. The pool bars were fab, although my husband said the larger was completely flat the whole time from the main bar. Didn’t find the staff very friendly apart from the man at the pool bar I believe he was called pepe. The rooms were really cold on an evening, the heating didn’t appear to work but we were provided blankets with no issues. The snack bar was fantastic during the day, the kids loved the slushies and ice creams. The beach wasn’t too far to walk to at all and a Lidl only a few minutes walk. We didn’t enjoy the stoney beach ( obviously nothing to do with the hotel) The entertainment was ok, my daughter enjoyed the mini disco and the staff were good with the children at the disco. We did have issues with our booking as it appeared to have been cancelled through on the beach but they sorted it straight away although the woman on the desk wasn’t very friendly but a chap came along and was more helpful. I found the hire of a safe quite expensive at 45 euro getting 20 euros back at check out. The rooms were good, every thing we needed. Over all we did have a lovely week, I think it would have been nice to be made to feel a little more welcome. Evenia Hotels, Ventas at Evenia Olympic Park, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your recent stay last week. We are delighted to hear that you and your family had a lovely week overall and that you enjoyed so many aspects of our resort! It is wonderful to know that your children had a blast with our splash pools, water slides, and the daily mini disco! Our animation team works with all their heart to create unforgettable memories for the little ones, so knowing your daughter enjoyed dancing with them is fantastic. We are also thrilled that the snack bar was a hit, especially with the slushies and ice creams to keep everyone refreshed under the sun.We appreciate your kind words about the cleanliness of the resort, the comfort of the sun loungers, and our convenient location—having a supermarket like Lidl just a short stroll away and being within walking distance of the beach certainly makes family travel much easier!Thank you again for choosing us for your family holiday. We would love the opportunity to welcome you all back in the future and give you the truly warm, friendly Evenia experience you deserve.Warmest regards,The Evenia Hotels team

    Sun, Sea and SALMONELLA!!!!!!

    rating11 May 2026

What was meant to be a well deserved week away, quickly turned into a disaster!First impressions upon arrival seemed very good. Staff were friendly enough, Hotel was well presented. Unfortunately as the week went on, it would become apparent that my first impressions were wrong! The Room-Tiny rooms, with thin walls in-between them meaning you could hear everything!!Restaurant- Tasteless/bland repetitive food in the restaurant, some of the food unidentifiable (Mystery meat as I called it) full of bone, poorly prepared, and abrupt snappy staff seating you and clearing tables.Cleanliness-Overall cleanliness was of a good standard, not great, but good.Pool Facility's-Pool was of good standard, cleaned daily, no litter around. Very good!Bar - Clean and tidy, decor was a little dated, but overall well maintained. Staff were rude when serving.Kid's Club - NASnack Bar -Main concern and reason for writing this came towards the end of the week.Undercooked is an understatement, It was RAW! (Please see the attached photo!)We had an afternoon bite to eat at the snack bar! and discovered RAW chicken! In my opinion this is beyond unacceptable. This could have caused some serious damage to myself and my family! When brough to a member of staffs attention, she quickly took it off me and said "I will speak with the kitchen" - Nothing more came of this. No apology, Nothing! My partner has been quite unwell since consuming this RAW piece of chicken and its the last thing you expect to happen when you pay your hard earned money for a week in the "Sun"!I look forward to hearing your response on this matter! Evenia Hotels, Ventas at Evenia Olympic Park, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your recent stay. We are glad to hear that your first impressions of our resort were positive, that our cleanliness met a good standard, and that you and your family enjoyed our pool facilities, which our team works hard to maintain daily. However, we are deeply concerned and saddened to read about the rest of your experience, particularly regarding the snack bar and the illness your partner has suffered. Please accept our most sincere apologies. Food safety and the well-being of our guests are our absolute top priorities, and what you have described is completely unacceptable to us.We take reports of undercooked food with the utmost seriousness. Your comment, along with the details of your interaction with the staff, has been escalated immediately to our Food & Beverage Director and our Kitchen Management team. We are conducting a thorough internal investigation into the snack bar procedures during your stay to ensure that our strict quality and safety controls are being flawlessly executed. We are also deeply sorry for the lack of a proper apology and follow-up from our team on-site; this does not reflect the attentive, family-focused service we pride ourselves on.We also take note of your comments regarding the room size, soundproofing, and the service in our main restaurant. As a large resort featuring four different hotels (Palace, Park, Garden, and Suites), we always aim to provide a comfortable, varied, and joyful experience for all families, and we regret that we missed the mark for you in these areas. Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us identify where we need to improve and retrain our staff to ensure a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere. We genuinely hope your partner feels much better soon. While we understand this stay was deeply disappointing, we would appreciate the opportunity to look into your case further. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team directly at quality@eveniahotels.com so we can address your experience personally.Warm regards,The Evenia Hotels team

    Wouldn’t return.

    rating09 May 2026

Just returned from a week here. Rooms in suites were nice, cleaned daily and fresh towels. Was very cold in the room in an evening though- probs just the time of year. The walls are really thin so you hear everything! Our room faced the front of the hotel so the view wasn’t great and it was noisy. Food was repetitive and all tastes the same. We got bored very quickly. Given it was a quiet time of year the restaurant was so noisy and hectic so hard to enjoy your meal. The snack bar was ok and the chef was great. Pools were good. Kids club wasn’t great, although the staff were friendly as you arrived they didn’t interact with the children at all. They were just kind of left to roam so got bored quick and wanted to leave. There wasn’t much of a programme of activities to keep the children entertained for any amount of time. The animation lacked any kind of animation. There was a brief kids disco for 20 mins on an evening and the guy who ran this was really good with the kids. They just need more people like him! The staff on the bars etc were attentive but not particularly friendly. Lloret itself was nice for shopping and exploring and not too far away. We had an ok week and didn’t pay a great deal in comparison to other holidays but we wouldn’t return or recommend. Evenia Hotels, Ventas at Evenia Olympic Park, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you very much for choosing Evenia Olympic Resort for your recent week-long getaway and for taking the time to provide such a detailed account of your stay. Feedback like yours is essential for us to keep improving the holiday experience we offer. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of our Suites, and that you found our pool areas to your liking. It is also wonderful to know that the chef at the snack bar and the entertainer at the mini-disco made a positive impression—we will certainly share your praise with them, as they represent the high energy we strive for across the entire resort. However, I am genuinely sorry that other aspects of your stay did not live up to your expectations. Please accept our apologies for the temperature in your room; while our climate control is adjusted seasonally, our reception team is always available to provide extra blankets or solutions to ensure your comfort. Regarding the noise levels in the restaurant and the variety of our buffet, we appreciate your honesty. We are constantly working on diversifying our menus and managing the flow of our dining rooms to ensure a more relaxed atmosphere, even during peak times. We also take your comments about the MiniClub and animation program very seriously. We pride ourselves on being a top family destination, and it’s clear we missed the mark for you on this occasion. We are currently reviewing our activity schedules and staff training to ensure that every child feels engaged, supervised, and entertained throughout the day. While we understand you might not be planning a return right now, we would love the chance to welcome you back in the future—perhaps during the peak of the summer season when our full Water Park is in high gear and our animation team is at its maximum capacity—to show you the true Evenia Olympic experience.Kind regards,The Evenia Hotels team

    Okay for the price point

    rating27 Sept 2025

I stayed at the Evenia recently as part of a company conference & although the rooms are pretty dated & small (we had a basic room but I have heard the suites are much nicer), the staff were very friendly & the food not too bad too. It's not the sort of hotel I would stay at personally on holiday (too large & noisy), but I think for the price & for families with young children it's not a bad option as there a few pools, water slides for kids etc. The food wasn't the best, but not terrible either, although to be fair I only ate at the snack bar so can't comment on what the evening buffet is like.In terms of location, the hotel is well positioned as you can easily walk into town & to the beach in 10-15 mins so that is a big plus. Evenia Hotels, Ventas at Evenia Olympic Park, responded to this review Dear client, We are delighted that you highlighted the friendliness of our staff; we will pass on your compliments to the entire team. We are also pleased that you found the location convenient, with easy and quick access to the town centre and the beach. We deeply appreciate your honest feedback regarding the dated appearance of the rooms. We want to assure you that we are committed to providing modern comfort. We are currently implementing a progressive renovation plan across the resort. In fact, this year, we have already completed the full renovation of the Evenia Olympic Suites, transforming them into modern, Mediterranean-inspired spaces. We will continue improving other areas, including the Evenia Olympic Garden, in upcoming phases. We hope to receive you again to provide a better experience and to try our acclaimed evening buffet. Sincerely,Evenia Hotels team

Good holiday! We had a fab time.

    rating22 Sept 2025

Location is great. Right next to bars and restaurants outside the hotel itself. We drove there from the airport in a hire car and it was easy to find. The Evenia is full of a certain type of British person - when I say "Tattoos and Tetley", you'll know what I mean. Lots of nationalities though, which is always refreshing, hate being in a hotel when its just us and a load of fellow Brits. Feels so uncultured. But Evenia doesn't feel that way - plenty of Germans, French and Spanish. The hotel and rooms themselves are just a bit dated - could do with an upgrade, but honestly, we're not the type of family to care much about a luxurious bathroom - if its clean and all works, we're all grand. We didn't have enough towels though - 2 x large towels and 2 hand towels isn't really enough for a family of 4. Bedding had the previous occupant's hair in the sheets and blankets - which made me feel a bit icky. Other than that, beds were fine. Rooms were comfy - beware of mozzies getting in though, as soon as you open that balcony door - its like they're ready to pounce! Food - day one, and day two, you're like "Oooh this is nice, plenty of choice!" By day 4, you're no longer impressed and everything that needs oil to deep fry, tastes the same - ie. they clearly don't change the oil between each cook/day. For example, the chips taste fresh day one, by day 3 they're awful, you can tell they haven't changed the oil... then day 4 all of a sudden, the chips taste good again. Not that I ate a load of chips, but my beige-food-loving child definitely did! They clearly use the same oil for the chicken nugget and even the donuts! They clearly attempt to save money by re-using the oil a lot. And you can taste it. Its weird to say that everything tastes the same... but it kind of does. Its so odd. And they re-use a lot of left over food for the next day (which is fine, I'll all about minimizing waste) - so the "chilli beef" for the nachos in the snack bar, clearly old mashed up burgers from the day before. The mash potato in the main restaurant was gross - clearly made out of left over chips! It literally tasted of chips! The snack bar has a lot of food uncovered, for hours on end. This means flies are all over it, especially the cheese and meats. Drinks - great. Couldn't fault them to be honest. Endless soft drinks and water on tap, I don't think I saw a queue longer than 3 people for the outdoor pool bar, in the entire time I was there, which for August is good! I didn't see a queue in the day time, for any other bar, the entire week! Really happy staff, happy to help. Nice wine selection in the main restaurant at dinner and lunch too. The slides are fantastic! Beware though, I injured myself, you come down them so quickly, you hit the water at a speedy pace! My kids spent a large majority of the holiday on these slides! Also, I know it sounds daft but I believe this is why my daughter (very fair skinned) got burnt! I put so much factor 50 on her, its stupid, I was constantly doing it - yet I believe the slides wash it off very rapidly - as you come down and hit the water so fast, it almost pressure washes it off! Overall - a very pleasant and happy holiday was had by all four of us. Evenia Hotels, Ventas at Evenia Olympic Park, responded to this review Dear Gracie,Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay. We’re really pleased to know that overall you and your family had a pleasant and happy holiday with us.
