Lovely hotel. Always clean and the staff were really good..Think they need to change the breakfast menu slightly. We were there 11 nights and breakfast the same everyday. Maybe different fruit or different cooked breakfast. Eggs were always undercooked and the same for the bacon. We only had an evening meal once but was disappointed. We had paella but it was overcooked. However all said location was really good. Sunbeds always available and the staff and the view from room were amazing.

First time visitors. This is an excellent medium sized hotel, set in a fantastic location directly onto the lovely beach with crystal clear sea. Great staff, a lovely buffet breakfast including cooked to order egg dishes, an all day and evening bar selling food and a wide range of drinks and a cute pool area with plenty of beds and umbrellas (no need to race to take them and the pool area doesn’t open until 9am). In the bedroom the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the air-con effective and everywhere appeared spotlessly clean.The pool itself was far too cold for us, but a few other guests enjoyed it.We’d strongly recommend opting for the breakfast only option, if you’re happy to take the short walk into town to other restaurants. The hotel’s half board evening meals included in that option are table served from a limited 5 choices per course menu. We’re not food experts, but didn’t rate that food at all. There is a more upmarket a la carte menu instead, charged extra.To sunmarise, we highly recommend the hotel Golden Mar Menuda. Just back from a wonderful week at this beautiful hotel, I cannot speak highly enough of the overall experience. The room was spotless and spacious, only thing I could have done with was a grab handle in the shower but I am disabled. All the staff are friendly and courteous and cannot do enough to help you,. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day. Small hotel with relaxed atmosphere

The hotel staff were friendly and check in was easy, our room was very clean and a good size. We were half board and breakfast had a good choice, but lacked in the hot food department, the grill station was not manned all the time and you had to wait for the chef to come from the back, it was only on the last day I found out they did bacon as it had never been on display before. The evening meal was a choice of starter, main and dessert which changed on a weekly basis but it is the first time I have come across paying a supplement if I selected one of the options. The food was tasty, but it didn’t supply the recommended five a day vegetables required, and it would say chicken on the menu, when it arrived it was a chicken breast with a few crisps, some small tomatoes and peppers.I think the food was good quality, it just needed a bit more thought to the accompanying vegetables.The beds were very comfortable and bedding was changed every four days, along with towels changed daily which could have been extended. There was also a fridge in the room which was handy during the hot weather.
