We have visited the Golden TaurusPark for many years and would always highly recommend it. The facilities are brilliant and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This year, more than ever, I have to commend them for the way they have all dealt with the extreme weather conditions we have faced. Despite government weather warnings and local transport disruption we were fed, watered and entertained. How the staff even got to work amazes me. OK Hotel but could be better

Location ok. Lovely reception and bar area. Pool area nice (3 pools to choose from) plenty for day time activities if thats your thing. Good entertainment in the evening but quite late. Good choice of British TV channels in the rooms. Dining room under staffed and big queues for food. Variety of food good. You can always find something you like unless you are very picky or a fussy eater. Bar service good. Negatives: Rooms not cleaned well . Never cleaned floor in room all week. Towels changed regularly and bed linen once a week. Air-conditioning poor, very hot in rooms. But main issue was smelly mattress (smelt sweaty and definitely not us) . I had to ask for pillow change as smelt of vomit ?? awful! I would rate this as a 3* not a 4* hotel. Would we return? Doubtful. Just back today as a family of 4. Frequent holiday goer and have never experienced such a Que to get in to the restaurant ! (Not the Que for food, actually to get a table) even though you have a wrist band. This is purely down to them wanting to give you a slip so you don’t get a drink without paying !! The girl in the reception is rude we forgot our card (you have to take to every meal) she made us go back to get it and Que again. Her attitude was very aggressive and dismissive. The food itself was really nice and fresh. Salad bar, desert bar, fresh cooked food. Breakfast was good as well. The outdoor pools as expected was cold but we went most days to the indoor pool. Loved the spa area. We spent a lot of time at the beach, the sea was very warm and we got lucky with the first part of the weeks weather. 10-15 minute walk either side take you to the local towns. Lovely local market on Wednesday. Room was adequate for a family of 4. We had a 2 bedroom. TVs in both rooms and fridge and kettle in the main room. Bathroom massive only a shower though. On our 4th night we had some disruptions through the night constant banging and arguing. I believe they left the hotel at 6am in the morning after being asked to leave. The on site play park is a great addition. The hotel is clean and smells fresh, Not a lot to do anywhere in the local areas. Bit boring . That’s not the hotels fault. They just need to sort out their queuing system to get inside the restaurant. We won’t be back due to the area not being right for us. Lovely, clean hotel. Excellent swimming pools Decent buffets but can get a bit manic. Staff need to do better in the bar areas. Can be very slow. Generally speaking, staff are friendly. Very quiet outside the hotel and need to do a bit of walking to reach shops, restaurants etc. but all very flat so no issue.
