  We spent 5 nights at this hotel bed and breakfast , double room for me and my husband and a triple room next door for our 3 sons . The rooms were basic but clean , the air con worked and they had balconies ,we had an end corner room at the back of the hotel which was really spacious and quiet . The safe was free and there were free toiletries, our room was cleaned daily and given clean towels . It was ideal for us , If you want a more modern looking room you need to book the deluxe rooms . The breakfast was brilliant , plenty of choice for everyone plus cava ??The pool area was lovely and although we only went there on our last day we got a comfy sofa bed. Great central location 5 min walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around , really enjoyed our stay ??

  Decent, but not a 4-star hotel

  Arrived to Gran Hotel Flamingo on 26th, reception staff lovely and pleasant. The floor ground where the restaurant, bar and pool is located. The furniture looks lovely and smells lush.Went down for dinner. Its the same food evening day/ evening. Bedrooms are basic for how much you paid to stay at this hotel. Dont expect anything too fancy. Some rooms have 3 beds, some bave 2 (double or twin). We had to move our bed due to the plug sockets being under our pillows which was annoying. The shower is the bathroom is a bit loose and leaks over the floor at times.You get free wifi through the hotel. Some spots are a hit or miss. On the first floor there is a gym which is free to use. Its definitely not a 4-star hotel.   Stopping at this hotel firstly very clean hotel rooms etc . Situated very local to everything the pool on the roof is bonus if you have certain rooms which you pay extra for . Big downside is it has to sister hotels joining this roof pool ! Seems everyone makes there way to our pool taking the sunbeds up ? Club Avana Rooftop is a private club with limited and controlled access. Although it is physically located on the rooftop of the Gran Hotel Flamingo, it is not a pool area exclusively belonging to this hotel. It is an independent space offered as an additional service to specific guests.Access to the Club is included for all guests staying at the 4 Superior Hotel Delamar* and, in the case of the Gran Hotel Flamingo, exclusively for guests who have booked a Superior or Premium room, as access to Club Avana is included with these room categories.For this reason, guests from Hotel Delamar using Club Avana are not taking up space reserved exclusively for Gran Hotel Flamingo guests. Just like you, they are guests whose reservation includes authorised access to this private club.Access is deliberately limited in order to control capacity and ensure that there is sufficient space for all guests entitled to use the Club. Club Avana offers more than 2,000 m², with different areas for sunbathing, resting and relaxing. At certain times, many guests naturally prefer to gather around the central pools, and the loungers in these particular areas can therefore fill up quickly, which may give the impression that there is not enough space. However, there are several relaxation areas throughout the Club and there is space for all guests who are entitled to access it.We also have rules in place to prevent sun loungers from being reserved for long periods when they are not actually being used. If a guest leaves their belongings on a lounger and is absent for longer than the permitted time, our team may remove and safely store their belongings so that the lounger can be used by other guests who are physically present in the pool area. This is common practice in many hotels and is not simply a question of available space, but above all one of fairness and respect for other guests. We do not consider it fair for a sun lounger to remain reserved for hours when nobody is actually using it.We wanted to clarify this point because we understand that, as Club Avana is located on the rooftop of the Gran Hotel Flamingo, it may appear to be a facility exclusively for this hotel.   We felt safe and well fed!

  Enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Flamingo, bed and breakfast. Check in was quick and easy and went straight to the bar for a drink. The pool area was lovely and clean, limited sunbeds but we managed to find one each day. Pool was a blessing in August. We liked sitting up on the terrace area as that got the sun majority of the day. The rooms are fine for what we needed, water pressure great, bed was firm but to my taste, hairdryer in the bathroom, large balcony with chairs, table and an ashtray. Tv in room, couple of English channels. The rooms were cleaned daily. We hired pool towels for a €10 deposit each, this was refunded at the end of our stay. All staff we encountered were lovely, from reception, to housekeepers. Breakfast was fantastic. Cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit, eggs, smoothies, juices, coffees, teas, hot foods etc and cava. The breakfast room was decorated lovely and didn’t have the usual loudness of other hotels Iv stayed in. It was relaxed and peaceful. Just one thing that would have made our stay easier would have been some information in our rooms, for example the WiFi password (this was provided at reception when requested, pool opening hours, pool towel hire and breakfast times. We would be happy to stay with you again. Thank you.
