  Great room with a view

  The hotel Horitzo was in a great location, right across from the see. We paid extra for see views and was worth every penny. The rooms had everything you needed, kettle and mugs. Coffee, tea and sugar replaced every day. The rooms and hotel was cleaned every day and clean towels every day. All staff was friendly and had smiles always. The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. If in Blanes again, I would not hesitate to stay they again.   The rooms could use a little update but Breakfast was amazing, They have a variety of local products and a Cava for mimosas! Service was great. Mar at reception always with a smile and suggestions and recommendations of what to do or where to go. Mary always help us at breakfast and Metre (hopefully i get his name right) was very funny and nice to talk. For sure we will come back.   A pleasant and relaxing break! Stayed here for x10 days earlier this month. The perfect base to explore and visit friends. Friendly and clean hotel. Breakfast was top notch.   Pros hotel was right across the road from the beach, shower was great. Great bar up the road called the shack, reception staff lovely Cons catering staff miserable, rooms falling apart, view from my room was like something out of a prison, arrived quite late and nothing was available to eat, quite a dead location, key card for the room stopped working all the time so would always have to go down to reception Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Hotel Horitzo by Pierre & Vacances, responded to this review Dear Corrina, We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel.We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our prime location across from the beach and the quality of our shower facilities. It is also heartening to know that our reception staff provided a lovely experience.However, we regret to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. While our rooms are designed to provide comfort and relaxation, we understand that the view from some rooms might not be as scenic as one would desire. We apologize if this was the case and would like to mention that we do offer rooms with sea views that may better suit preferences for a future stay. Additionally, we are sorry to learn that the catering staff did not exude the warm hospitality we strive for, and we will review this feedback internally. We recognize the inconvenience caused by the key card malfunctions and are working on improving this aspect of our service. Concerning dining options upon late arrival, we will take this into consideration to enhance our guest experience.   Not recommend if you struggle to walk.. up at the top of a hill

  traveled here with Jet2 package hols, 6am flight, only to arrive 1.30pm an be told by a very rude member of staff I couldn't check-in till 5pm or pay a fee of €30 to check-in early, Jet2 were not aware of this I kept my recipe an got a refund when i got home, €200 for deposit which went back on my card 2 days after I got home. This hotel/apartments are at the top of a hill, from the indoor market you have to walk up 3 very steep hills, these apartments can be very noisy because they let big groups stay in it, Rooms are basic you pay for what you get, The only good thing about these apartments are the views.. wouldn't stay again Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Hotel Horitzo by Pierre & Vacances, responded to this review Dear Samantha,Thank you for your review.We truly regret to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations.
