Friendly personnel, clean fresh room, good breakfast, near to beach. We rally enjoyed this hotel from the first moment we arrived. Good shower, dont get nervous if you have to wait for warm water, it will come!!

Service is very good, very good breakfast, room is clean, new, and neat with kitchenette included, very good indoor pool, good free underground parking, good location, quiet surroundings, 100 m from beach.

First up this hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff take great care with cleaning your rooms and all the hotel is spotless. Secondly the staff really are trained well, customer service is their motto, all the staff were fab, thanks to Diego for his excellent English as we had zero Portuguese. Rooms are good, great Internet, TV, mini kitchenettes and big beds oh and super clean bathrooms. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice. Hotel is minutes from the beach, there are chairs and parasols you can take from the reception to use, an added bonus. Within 5 minutes walk you are on the main strip where there are many bars and restaurants. Very high review score was the reason to choose this hotel. It was right decision - exceptionally clean, caring staff, good breakfast buffet.Only the pool was a bit disappointing ... nothing is perfect. Good neighborhood, not far from city center. Walking along the beach we found good restaurants. Going in opposite direction there is a laundry - we left there one suitcase full of dirty clothes and next morning it was ready - clean and ironed for a ridiculously small sum! I forgot exact amount but I believe that for that kind of money we could have washed 2-3 shirts in the hotel! varaderopalace, Gerente at Varadero Palace Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your evaluation. 2 min walk to the beach! Shopping and restaurant are also very close by. The hotel is clean, modern, and the staff provides wonderful service. I wish we had more time to spend at the hotel. The hotel also offers a great breakfast. Please note, it takes 20-30 mins to get to Music park and Jurere from this hotel (maybe even longer) if you are traveling there during a high season like NYE. The traffic is annoying and sometimes it takes cab 30mins to an hour to arrive for pickup.
