Probably the Rudest Hotel Staff I’ve Ever Encountered

I am trying to start this review with something positive, but unfortunately, I am having a hard time finding much to say.There is a significant difference between the rooms, and the photos shown online are clearly not representative of the majority of them\. I also genuinely struggle to understand how this hotel has been rated four stars\. Based on our experience, I would consider it three stars at best.Our room is on the first floor, facing the pool and outdoor bar area\. Unfortunately, this also means that until around midnight, we have to listen to loud disco music from a speaker located approximately four metres from our window. What is particularly disappointing is that the staff seem to see nothing wrong with this arrangement, despite the obvious impact on guests trying to sleep.The reception staff have also been consistently unfriendly and unhelpful\. The restaurant hostess, in particular, has been exceptionally rude\. Her manner towards guests is condescending and unnecessarily unpleasant, making it seem as though dealing with people is the last thing she wants to do\.There also seems to be a strong focus on charging guests for every possible extra\. Nowadays, having complimentary drinking water available, even at reception, is hardly unusual\. Not here\. When I asked at reception whether there was somewhere to refill a bottle, I was simply told to go and buy water\. There is a water tap in the restaurant, but when I asked if I could refill a bottle there, I was refused, even though I was with children\.As for the food, it is mediocre at best, little flavor, unappealing.Overall, the experience has been far below what I would expect from a four\-star hotel\.

2 Stars – Not a 4-star experience, disappointing management and service?We are staying at Hotel Alhambra as a group of 14 people with half-board. Despite requesting rooms relatively close to each other well in advance, we were scattered all over the entire hotel.?The overall experience feels more like a 2-star hotel rather than a 4-star property:?Dining & Long Queues: If you don't arrive right when the restaurant opens, massive queues form outside simply because staff have to manually scan every single guest's key card at the entrance.?No Water at Dinner: Dinner does not include free water, and bringing your own bottled water from the supermarket is strictly forbidden. You are forced to buy it directly from the hotel at twice the normal price.?Strict & Unfriendly Coffee Rules: You are not allowed to drink the breakfast coffee on the hotel terrace—it must be consumed inside the restaurant. When we went to buy coffee from the bar specifically to enjoy it outside, the waitress was extremely rude and made us feel like a burden. Even after thanking her, she completely ignored us without a word.?Overall, the rigid rules and lack of customer-oriented service ruined what should have been an enjoyable group stay. Would not recommend until management improves customer care and logistics.

When walking past the guy outside convinced us it was good food ..... well it certainly was not. The steak was over cooked so was the chicken. Belly pork was just OK as was the pasta nothing special just pasta with very little sauce. The entertainment was unfortunately for the home crowd, nothing bad to say about that, as expected, it just wasn't very welcoming for English people. No english spoken to encourage to join in. Waiters were not very friendly just too busy. Glad we were not staying there & only went for meal. Certainly wouldn't recommend if your British.

We didn’t stay at this hotel,but we ate here two nights running on the terrace outside,the service from beginning to end was outstanding. Polite & friendly, giving recommendations on the food which was lovely and the cocktails fantastic. On the second night we were served by a young man named Pau , what an asset he is , so professional, but also made us so welcome. Whatever we asked for he delivered so efficiently and with such a big smile. He deserves a pay rise . I believe he will go far if he stays in the industry. The entertainment on stage was fantastic too .One last thing, mojito’s to die for ????

I had a lovely stay here! The hotel is well equipped, lovely rooms, nice balcony, close to the beach and bars, great entertainment! We had a wonderful time. We loved the over 18 rooftop with hot tub and sunbeds. The food was absolutely lovely with so many options for everyone.
