  Today is our last day at Gran Garbi Mar, and unfortunately, our overall experience has been quite disappointing.We arrived on the first day as a family of four: my two elderly parents, my brother, and myself. We initially got confused about the entrance because there are several hotels in the area with very similar names. We first went to the main Gran Garbi hotel, where we were received by two women at the reception. Unfortunately, their attitude was very arrogant and unwelcoming. They simply told us that we were at the wrong hotel and sent us outside with all our luggage, without offering any assistance or directions.We walked around the area twice and still could not find our hotel until someone eventually helped us. Needless to say, this created a very negative first impression.When we finally reached our room on the first floor, the first things we noticed were an unpleasant smell coming from the bathrooms and the lack of a proper sense of security on the balcony.The worst part of our stay, however, was the first night. Our entire family spent the night without being able to sleep because our room was located very close to the pool filters or other machinery, which produced a constant and extremely disturbing noise throughout the night.The following morning, when we went to reception to complain, we were told that they were already aware of the problem. Despite this, we had still been assigned that room. They eventually changed our room, but this meant that we had to pack all our belongings again, carry all our luggage upstairs, and unpack and settle into another room.Regarding the kitchen and restaurant, we have no complaints. The food was generally good, and the kitchen staff were pleasant and helpful. Among the reception staff, I would especially like to mention one older gentleman with grey hair and glasses, who was very kind and treated us well.Today, on our final day, we are also facing another disappointing situation. We booked a full-board stay, so lunch is included, and our departure is at 6:00 PM. However, reception informed us that we had to leave our room at 10:00 AM.Considering all the problems we experienced during our stay, including the sleepless night and having to change rooms, we tried to negotiate and asked whether we could stay in the room until our departure. Unfortunately, no solution was offered. We were told that we would have to pay approximately €30 if we wanted to keep the room longer.What makes this even more disappointing is that we were never refunded or compensated for the night when our entire family was unable to sleep and we were forced to change rooms because of the noise.Overall, I am very disappointed with the way these issues were handled, particularly by the reception. A little more understanding and hospitality would have made a significant difference, especially considering that we were travelling with two elderly parents.That said, I would definitely recommend visiting Costa Brava. The area itself is beautiful and absolutely worth exploring.As for Gran Garbi Mar, unfortunately, I would give it 4/10. These points are mainly for the kitchen, the food, and the kitchen staff.I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves the way guest complaints and problems are handled in the future.Thank you.

  My family and I recently stayed at Hotel Gran Garbi in Lloret de Mar, and once again we had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The hotel offers a great price-to-quality ratio, which makes it a perfect choice for families who are looking for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday without spending too much.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, giving us a nice place to relax after enjoying the sun, the pool, and the area around Lloret de Mar. The facilities are great for both adults and children, and there is always something to enjoy during the stay.What makes this hotel really stand out is the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. A special mention also goes to the bar staff, who were very kind, welcoming, and always made us feel comfortable. Their friendly service really added something extra to our holiday.Special thanks to Javier, Juan, Luiz, Rosario, José, and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable again.Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday at Gran Garbi and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, family-oriented hotel with great value.   The hotel looks nothing like the pictures advertised, the water slides you see on the pictures are only available from the end of May to September, this wasn’t advertised correctly when we booked. We paid for all inclusive and the food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner was cold, everyday we were there. All inclusive privileges were only accessible from 11am which was disappointing. Supposedly we had some of the best rooms in the hotel, this was an overstatement, the rooms were tiny and unclean. The floors hadn’t been swept when we walked in,There was a dead fly on the floor and clumps of hair and dust scattered around the room. Feel like we have overpaid for the services provided.   It’s okay but there were like 100 ants ?? on the table next to the tv water.Slides aren’t on until June food made me sick we were waiting 30 to 50 minutes for reception room smelly and don’t ever book hear 0 stars
