  We did not stay in the main hotel the annexe if you like it was clean we had bed breakfast the food was ok. Staff were polite.Our air con was not working first day reported it went out came back sorted.   4-star hotel with a budget price. The rooms are standard and very clean. The staff was very polite friendly and helpful. The main advantage is the walking distance to the beach and to the high street. The food was exceptional and had different choices. The halal food options are really admired.   Very disappointed

  This hotel mentioned was ment to be a four star. I would say more a 3 Very little beds to sun bathe so. You have to be up early. Also no sun all day. ( not the hotels fault) All inclusive was very poor. I am not a fussy eater at all but this was very limited on food and what you did get was not nice so we ended up eating out . No kettle in the room so we thought we get a coffee from the bar, however the bar did not open untill 11am You get tokens for you glasses so don’t loose your tokens else you have to pay for the glasses. Very busy hotel with stags and hens. The snacks during the day consists of hotdogs which. to have to micro wave yourself, ham sandwiches pre packed on white bread. A few crisps and a bit of ham on a plate. Very disappointing. I asked for an iced coffee one day I got black cold coffee. The air con didn’t work despite me telling the reception staff so you can imagine how hot it was in the room. It was very clean however and staff of reception was polite. I wouldn’t recommend at all

  I do not recommend this hotel. In my opinion, it definitely does not meet the standard of a 4-star hotel. Realistically, I would rate it as a 2-star hotel at best.The only real positive thing about this place is the staff. They are very friendly, polite and helpful. The housekeeping staff also do their job properly and keep the rooms clean, so I have no complaints about the service.Unfortunately, almost everything else was very disappointing. The water in the swimming pools is so cold that it is almost impossible to enjoy them. I would definitely recommend going to the beach instead, which is fortunately located quite close to the hotel.The food is also poor. Most dishes are bland and lack flavour, and there are only a few things that actually taste good. For example, the sweet pastries served at breakfast were one of the few things I really enjoyed.Another problem is the cleanliness of the swimming pools. Apart from the water being extremely cold, the bottom of the pools does not seem to be cleaned properly. You can see dirt that looks like it has been there for several days. The indoor swimming pool is especially bad and, in my opinion, should not even be open in its current condition.The soundproofing in the rooms is also terrible. At night, you can hear almost everything through the walls, including your neighbours talking or even snoring. I strongly recommend bringing earplugs if you want to sleep well.I also booked a room with a double bed, but instead I received two single beds pushed together. The mattresses kept moving apart during the night, which was very uncomfortable and definitely not what I expected.Overall, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. In reality, it feels like a 2-star hotel rather than a 4-star one. I honestly do not understand where so many extremely positive reviews come from, because my experience was completely different.The only thing I would not criticise is the staff, as they were friendly and did their job well. Unfortunately, good service is not enough to make up for all the other problems.

  Grand Garbi Hotel Lloret De Mar

  Rooms were very basic but very clean. Linen was also very clean. We had a great variety of food at breakfast and hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. As I work in a hotel too I cannot find anything negative to say about the Grand Garbi. The kids loved the activities put on by the activities coordinator she was fantastic with the kids. I would happily stay at the Grand Garbi again and would recommend to friends and family.
