  My friend and I do 3* holidays every year, unfortunately this hotel did not meet any standards or expectations. Food: very limited and repetitive, only three food stations served the hotel for breakfast at one time, the snack bar was never open, all the salad was pickled (odd) the worst of it, everything was cold, and I don’t mean lukewarm, cold. The drinks were standard for a 3* all inclusive so that’s expected. The room was clean and the reception staff were helpful and friendly, the bed was good too. The shower was either freezing or burning, no middle ground. The sea view is actually straight down onto a train track (as that’s 5m away from the hotel) making the room noisy even at night. Around the hotel: the lift was broken making the other very busy. There was also no sunlight at the pool, all shade. We went back several times to check, two beds got sun and that was it. If you want to drink outside, the seating area is like a shop front, so you just sit on the streets. My friend and I ended up checking out and going to another hotel 3 days after we got there. I don’t feel this hotel is value for what we paid, even though this was a budget holiday, there needs to be systematic improvements within this hotel. I just read it this back to my friend and she thinks that this doesn’t translate how terrible the hotel was, as we paid more money to leave.

  Walls are like paper, the rooms are dirty. You can't use the pool its dirty. If you want a cheap bed. Bad location. The staff are the best part and with that there okay not great. Don't stay here 1 star hotel.

  My husband and I stayed for a week all inclusive and i can honestly say we loved the food and there was plenty of choice. We had a sea view which over looked the train track but didnt find the trains a nuisance, an underpass to the beach. The hotel has a chiringito by the beach where all inc is acceptedfor beer or soft drinks, this was lively to sit with a drink by the beach. The sea gets to 4 feet deep quite quickly and the sand is gritty sand. Carol and Iva (animation team) were great and so were all the barmen, dj in the evenings, despasito, sweet caroline abba etc... all in all had a lovely week Hotel Manager, Owner at Ibersol Sorra d'Or, responded to this review Dear Anne,Thank you for choosing us.We are delighted that you loved the food and found plenty of choice at our buffet.   The hotel itself is in a pretty good location, near the train station and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The reception and bar staff were lovely, as were the housekeeping team with nothing being too much trouble . Unfortunately the restaurant staff were quite rude Food is OK, a little repetitive but average for 3 star hotel. We always had something to eat and certainly didn't go hungry. We were impressed with the drinks too, including cocktails. Our room was very basic but clean, bathroom not bad at all. Bedroom very much lacking plug sockets and table space. Our room was for 3 adults and one bed was a sofa bed. This didn't bother us but some people it might. The balcony couldn't fit 3 chairs at once which is a shame to not sit outside together. For a cheap ish place to stay, reasonable food and decent ai drinks it's OK.   Firstly the staff were lovely, everyone was always polite. The trouble wasn’t with the staff it was with the rooms. The first room we were given was a pool view. It hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was pink mould in the grout with lots of mould around the taps. Our room directly faced another room, to even be considered a pool view is diabolical. We obviously went to reception to complain and asked for another room. We agreed we would upgrade to a sea view for £10 a night. The receptionist then said “I told you that you should’ve upgraded”. I don’t think you should have to upgrade to get a clean room. Our sea view room was a lot better however it still wasn’t cleaned properly to a high standard with mould being a common theme. The walls were thin however it didn’t disturb our sleep. The location was okayI definitely won’t be returning.
