Great value. breakfast is good. There was an issue with our room which was resolved by Ayara. Was really impressed with her friendliness and customer service. Hotel is very clean and centrally located. Is quite basic though

The Hotel itself is pleasant enough, rooms very basic, staff are friendly, but no one told us that in the whole month of July it is full and I mean FULL of students from Germany, Italy, Holland, France and other countries, who are extremely loud and have no manners what so ever, they hog the pool with their silly games, shouting, and no sun beds available. They also start their nightlife at about 10.00 pm, continuing until 4.00 am in the morning. The hotel is located on a corner which is a passage way through to the main strip, so lots of outside noise too. When looking on the website, it appears to have 2 pools, which it does not, nor does it do all inclusive, the food is catered for the foreign students, so nothing edible for us as a couple. Lots of shops and backstreets, easily get lost. There is a supermarket that has everything you need within a 2 minute walk from La Palmera.

Very disappointing experience.We traveled with a children’s football team and booked 12 rooms. The rooms that they gave us on arrival where basically single rooms with camp bed set up to sleep 4 (you could imagine the space you had to move) The hotel staff had a horrendous attitudes towards our kids and parents, complained about the kids playing in the swimming pool, which is supposed to be a facility for guests to enjoy. Despite there being absolutely no damage to any of the rooms, the hotel refused to return our room deposits.This felt completely unfair and like an excuse to keep money that should have been refunded. To make matters worse, the food was poor quality and far below what we expected, while the drinks were ridiculously overpriced. The manager of the bars attitude was also uncalled for, the atmosphere in the hotel is terrible. The staff made our group feel unwelcome and the male managers were very threatening at times towards children of 12/13 yrs of age. Following them around the hotel and threatened violence toward them. Disgusting! We certainly won’t be returning and would not recommend this hotel to sports teams or families travelling with children.

The hotel complained about the kids playing in the swimming pool, which is supposed to be a facility for guests to enjoy. Despite there being absolutely no damage to any of the rooms, the hotel refused to return our room deposits.This felt completely unfair and like an excuse to keep money that should have been refunded. To make matters worse, the food was poor quality and far below what we expected, while the drinks were ridiculously overpriced.The staff made our group feel unwelcome, and the handling of the deposit issue left a very bad impression. We certainly won’t be returning and would not recommend this hotel to sports teams or families travelling with children.

Amazing staff especially Pau and Jezebel.Breakfast staff very welcoming in the morning. Our dog was welcome in all areas too. We had a problem with our vehicle and the reception staff were very helpful with accommodating us for more days and helping with translating telephone calls and Spanish advice.Amazing holiday despite our car troubles.Thank you Hotel la Palmera, we will be back ??
