Location

This hotel enjoys a privileged location on the Bay of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, close to the sandy beach and town centre (500 m). Restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops lie around 500 m away and a bus stop is located 1 km from the hotel. Girona is around 40 kilometres from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 109 non-smoking rooms, including 4 suites and 102 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. The outdoor pool complex, which includes a children's area, makes for relaxing swimming. With windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

    The room had a very strong sewer smell; upon entering, we immediately opened the balcony door. When we returned later that evening, the sewer smell was still there. I complained to reception, but they weren't interested. We left the door open all night. The next morning, I complained again, and as compensation, we were offered a late checkout, which we, of course, refused because we didn't want to stay in this smelly room any longer. My wife then brought the manager (Esther) upstairs, and she was shocked by the smell and promised to compensate us. Two days later, we received a €17.50 refund, which is disproportionate to the inconvenience. We filed a complaint with Booking.com, and in response, we received an email from the hotel that completely contradicted and denied everything. We would like to clarify that, upon receiving your report, our team immediately carried out a thorough inspection of the room and confirmed that the odor was not attributable to the hotel or to any recent bathroom repairs and disappeared after a short while. Even though it was not our fault and as compensation for the inconvenience a discount of €17.50 was applied and accepted by you, representing more than 40% of the room rate. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience all over the world (third bad review in one day).     Nice hotel and not good experience

    Very nice hotel. But very unpleasant reception. When we arrived, we were told that there is no parking. When we asked for advice , we were told to search by ourselves ( and hotel is in 20 minutes walking from city center where we parked our car for the evening)Also our kids room was full of mosquitoes .Air conditioner in room was so loud that it was not possible to use it during night.     Don't go to this hotel unless you have a car. It's in an impossible location to walk to, up the side of a mountain. We didn't notice there were no pillowcases until the maid knocked on the door at 5 pm to bring them. There was no hand soap or hairdryer. We went to the front desk and the woman brought out a hairdryer in a box. Told there were out of hand soap, but she would have them bring another bottle of shower gel. Never arrived. Couldn't get the A/C unit to work.     Great view but basic room.

    Our family of four stayed in a four bed room with sea view.The view over the sea is amazing. If you prefer to sleep in darkness you will be happy as the curtains are great for that.Beds are also comfy and have lots of pillows.The room are very empty and basic. There is no furniture except from the bed so there is no place to put your bag or things.There is no minibar, no water cooker, no glass to drink water in, no hair dryer.Balcony only include chair but no table. Do not plan your vacation to Saint Feliu de Guixols in end of July - beginning of August if you do not want to party and prefer to have a nice night sleep. During our 4 nights stay there were nightly conserts on a huge stage in the city center that started 00:30 am which you could hear load and clearly in to your bedroom for the coming four hours.Parking is very expensive at the hotel (16 EUR per day) but you can stay for free at the streets just outside the hotel.     Hotel experience was pleasant. The rooms were a bit old and basic. Shower is small but bathrooms were nice. The staff were really lovely and friendly and the view from this hotel is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was nice too.
