We had a large room overlooking the large pool with balcony and fridge. Very clean and bathroom looked new. We stayed half board and buffet food okay overall. Entertainment some nights outside and as good as some you get in 4* hotels and aqua fit each morning. Staff v helpful and pleasant and where problems quick to try and resolve. Location good for shops and plenty of choice. Beach looked nice but didnt use. Would recommend.

We found this hotel brilliant for the price, there was plenty of choice for food, we had breakfast and tea and couldn’t fault it. The rooms and hotel itself were so clean, drinks at the bar were a great price. Entertainment was ok maybe could have been on a little bit earlier. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, literally a 5 minute walk to all the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. We will deffo be returning.

Genuinely a great experience, the food was amazing, it had something for everyone, doesn’t matter if you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten intolerant or whatever. The staff was amazing the only downside is that most of the staff doesn’t speak English, not even basic English. The drinks at the bar were cheaper than anywhere in town and the espresso is amazing. They cleaned the rooms every day, changed the towels everyday. The pool was okay, I didn’t spend much time at it so I won’t comment. Now the downsides. We rented bikes, bcs it’s easier to travel that way but they have no where to store them but in the bedrooms which is a pain bcs the lifts don’t have space to take them to higher floors and we had to carry them upstairs. The bar closes at midnight, which is sometimes a bummer.

Great location and value for money

Great location, close to clubs, bars, town centre and beach all within 5 mins walk. There are 3 night clubs just by the hotel and even I had a room with balcony facing the road, it wasn’t noisy. The rooms are basic but clean and had everything you need. The towels could be replaced as they were very thin and rough. Water from the shower still manage to creep out. The train station was 10 mins walk away and you can get the train straight to Barcelona city in an hour and cost £6. Long stretch of beach but not very clean, also if you wanted to rent a beach lounger it cost €8. The quality of the food at the restaurant I ate at was not great, much better food in Barcelona city and other parts in Spain I’ve been too. Lots of university kids there, lots of Germans too. Breakfast was excellent, wide choice of buffet. Getting the taxi around the area was expensive.

My friend suffered a seizure on our flight and was extremely unwell when we arrived. We had to get off our transfer early, and at around 1:30am I asked at Hotel President if we could sit in reception briefly while she recovered.She was shivering, exhausted, and clearly in distress, but we were refused and told to wait at a bus stop outside. She had to lie there until she felt well enough to move.I understand policies exist, but a small act of kindness in this situation would have made a huge difference. Very disappointing
