Cheap and cheerful - nothing to criticise

    rating11 Oct 2026

We had a week here during the worst weather in 20 years with storms, lightening and torrential rain. The roads were flooded and the pavements full of mud and no trains to Barcelona for 3 days. However I could not fault the hotel!I had read some very un complimentary reviews and went not expecting much.We were given a very nice welcome and our room was very good with nice views.Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were exceptional with something for everyone and food replenished and tables cleaned immediately. The bar was good and the pool area very nice.We could only use it on 2 days because of the awful weather but when we did it was very pleasant with plenty of sunbeds and a nice warm jucuzzi to relax in.There were several large groups during our visit. The first lot were Dutch students who were very well behaved with many teachers to supervise them. The second group were Polish who didn't have much supervision and made a lot of noise. Then there was an Italian dance troupe who were great fun.The entertainment every evening was quite good. The location of the hotel is very good so you are in between the old town and Santa Susanna which is more up market with good quality restaurants. The beach there is lovely. There are some nice bars and restaurants and shops nearby. As it was end of season there were no excursions to speak of sadly so I wouldn't go again in October.Overall the hotel is very good value for money for 3 star accommodation, There is a crazy golf 12 hole course opposite which is good fun for 5euros for 2 rounds with a free drink at the end plus a gym upstairs. We had dinner in the hotel on our last night for 15 euros which again was wonderful with something for everyone. Beautifully cooked and presented with a bottle of water thrown in.My only minor complaint is that we did not get our early morning alarm call requested from the lady receptionist for 4am which the night watch man said he had not been given. Luckily our mobile phones had an alarm which meant that we didn't miss our coach to the airport.Overall a good hotel.

    Very relaxing holiday

    rating10 Oct 2026

Great location, The rooms were very small. Cleanliness, everything was spotless. The noise level in the corridors at night was crazy! Waiting staff were great but a special mention for Jordi & Andreu, two of the wiaiters at the poolside bar. We had a very enjoyable holiday here.

Good balance overall and top location

    rating04 Oct 2026

It’s a typical 3stars hotel offering all essential services (rooms have tv, a small balcony but are not very big and the hair-dryer is on demand). Food is good and various, vegetables and fruits are always there and menu changes every day. Cleaning is not at the best in the restaurant (tables don’t have real towels but are only swiped when guests change) but this is something acceptable considering the price. Staff is friendly and supportive, location is great and parking is free. The only real pity is the missing of free WiFi.

Avoid at all costs if you want to sleep.

    rating03 Oct 2026

Would avoid this place at all cost.We arrived and didn’t have a bank card as usually everywhere accepts contactless in 2026 (maybe this was our mistake). They refused to let us pay the tourist tax with contactless even though they had a card machine. The manager eventually let us pay with contactless. I then asked for towels, WiFi etc. which was €5 per device and again they point blank refused to let me pay with contactless but would not budge on this decision. Luckily enough I found a bank machine that I could use contactless to withdraw money. The staff weren’t very helpful. I complained a few times about noise and nothing ever got done about it. We ended up leaving 3 days early. The walls are paper thin but at the same time there is people screaming and shouting and slamming doors all through the night. The day we left there was a few buses of teenagers turned up and that was the final straw as they were completely out of control and again the reception weren’t interested to speak to them. They were running up and down the corridors screaming and shouting not even like they were shouting in conversation, they were literally just screaming. We had asked to be moved room which we were told there were no other rooms. An hour later we went down to check out and all of a sudden there was another room which we politely declined.Location was good as it was close to everything you need but would rather be further out at a decent hotel. The place is clean enough. Your rooms are cleaned and you’re given fresh towels each day.

    Clean Hotel and great location

    rating20 Sept 2026

Hotel location is perfect. 15 minutes stroll to the train station in santa susanna. And the beach is opposite. There are bars and eateries all around and a really nice curry house next door. Hotel was spotless. Cleaned rooms every day. There was live entertainment every day tho you would only be impressed if u were 80 years old and didn't have a life. There's a bar and pool table and air hockey. Bar shuts at midnight. There is a pool with a jacuzzi. A sauna and outside shower for the pool. Help yourself breakfast costs 7.50 euros each. It's average but hey can drink as .much coffee as u like from 8 till 930 am. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again
