    Hotel Vila de Tossa - Never again!

    This hotel group "uprated" our proposed stay from another of their hotels to this one.We received an email (saved & hard-copied), 3 days before we left UK, offering a cozy, "uprated room with sea view". Before accepting, my disabled pensioner partner rang the hotel group 3 times, to ensure the room offered had a sea view. This was confirmed each time, as it was of the upmost importance to her.We arrived to find 4th floor room 407 had no sea view - see pictures. Another phone call to the hotel group's "virtual reception" revealed that Vila de Tossa apparently has no sea view rooms ! So, we were deliberately misled by thrir email and different staff members. Every booking agency that carries their hotels should check-out this group's hotels and their management "practices", or you too may suffer the consequences!We were left late in the day, in the rain, to find alternative accommodation that was what it was purported to be - not easy for a 73 yr old and Disabled partner. Shame on you !

    Health Hazzard and terrible service

    Our stay at the RV Villa de Tulsa was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we tried to book, it was clear this was not a professional establishment.First, the customer service was horrible. We had to deal with a very rude and unhelpful employee on the phone who had a terrible attitude. His lack of professionalism set the tone for the entire visit.Second, the hotel is a serious health hazard. The place was incredibly dirty. We were concerned for our well-being and felt that basic cleanliness standards were completely ignored. It's not just unkempt; it is genuinely unsafe.I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. The combination of terrible customer service and a complete disregard for hygiene makes this a place to avoid at all costs.

    From bad to worse! Don’t go there

    Horrible and one of the worst hotels we ever stayed at. No reception or service, They don’t answer on WhatsApp and they give you a phone number only pnce inside, which you can’t get in! The rooms smell bad and were stuck in the 1970’s. Please save your money and don’t go there

    The hotel was a health hazard! There was black mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom and coming out of the air conditioning vents. I never have seen an issue like this at any other hotel! This is unsafe! Unhealthy! Management said mold is everywhere in Spain, and didn’t care! Also the hotel was very dated, and furniture not in good condition.

    A clean but tired hotel in dire need of renovation. The room was basic and old fashioned, but the bed was big and. Comfortable. The air conditioning in our room had to be repaired while we were there, but never really worked properly and the water evacuation from the sink was medely a slow trickle. Work needs to be done to bring the rooms up to a standard that one would expect for the price they charge. The room by the lift as it is very noisy, but thankfully we were moved on request. The breakfast was reasonable and the hotel is in a convenient location, (although the view is not pretty!), The off-site parking arrangements are rather bizzare and complicated. Hotel Vila Tosa does not merit being classed as a 4* hotel.
