Location

The hotel is located at the top a small cliff, open to the Bay of Roses, between the sandy beaches of Canyelles Petites and Bonifaci. Links to the public transport network are within about 300 m and the bus station is some 4 km away. The Roses city centre is about 3 km away. Girona-Costa Brava Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 70 km.

Facility

The hotel has 29 non-smoking rooms, including 7 junior suites and 21 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Going for a swim at the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, is a great way to relax. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The hotel offers outdoor sports, including tennis, basketball, crazy golf, golf, paddle tennis, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, banana boat rides, catamaraning and snorkelling. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, canoeing, sailing and diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can dine in 4 restaurants, which have air conditioning and high chairs as well as smoking and non-smoking areas. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At dinner, guests can order à la carte. Set menus are available at dinner. Vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available.

    We had had the most exceptional afternoon here. We arrived by boat from empuriabrava and had planned to visit another restaurant in the bay. The sea taxi wasn’t available to take us there as it stops at the end of August and we really didn’t want to swim to shore as we had 2 friends who weren’t strong swimmers. Luckily we saw the boat for the Vistabella. We spoke to the driver who organised us a table for 7 people and promptly took us to the shore from our boat. From there the service and food was just fantastic. A special shout to our waiter Dimitri who went above and beyond to look after us. We are already planning our next visit.     This hotel is sensational, though not so modern, it has the most friendly staff just wanting to make your stay the best. The views were nothing short of spectacular, the masseuse was one of the better to found in a hotel spa, and the wine list (and cellar) was extensive enough for all those that love good wine. Food, again excellent though not so modern.     The service in the hotel is exceptional. Everyone in the hotel is trying to make your stay perfect, easy and enjoyable. However, the hotel itself is far from being 5 star hotel. No outdoor pool. Need to pay money to get water. No walk-in shower. Breakfast is just ok, but breakfasts in 4 star hotels in Barcelona and Begur were way better. Hot and vegetable options are very limited. Also, our main terrace features plenty of sunbeds and chill-out beds for relaxing by the sea. Most of our rooms do have walk-in showers, and guests can always request one when booking or upon arrival. We also take good note of your comments regarding breakfast, as guest feedback is essential for us to continue improving.We hope you might consider returning in the future so we can offer you a stay that better matches what you are looking for.
