I visited a few years ago and im very impressed with the improvments.Amazing stay this time..nice room...friendly staff..the pool was amazing l..as well as location..outstanding..this was a truely memorable stay.The entertainment staff were the best

Our experience was extremely disappointing, particularly because our confirmed reservation was cancelled one day before arrival and the money we had already paid was not refunded.We booked a room one week in advance for two nights and paid €432.86 at the time of booking. The total cost of the reservation was €672.68.However, for no valid reason, the hotel cancelled our reservation just one day before our arrival. We tried to contact the hotel several times by phone and email, but unfortunately, we had great difficulty communicating because nobody we spoke to could communicate with us properly in English.Despite the cancellation, we went to the hotel in person because we still wanted to stay there. We were told that the balance available on our bank card had supposedly been insufficient, which was the reason they gave for cancelling our reservation. This was not true. We showed them our bank account balance for that specific day, and it was clearly sufficient to cover the payment.The hotel then told us that we had to make a new reservation and pay the full amount again, while they would supposedly investigate what had happened with the original reservation. We did it and as a result, we paid the full amount for the room again.This was especially upsetting because the day we arrived was our birthday. We had been looking forward to celebrating it during our holiday, but instead, we spent our special day dealing with a stressful and disappointing situation caused by the hotel.We find this treatment completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this standard. The lack of communication, the cancellation of our confirmed reservation without a valid reason, being required to pay again, and the refusal to refund €432.86 we had already paid for the original reservation have left us extremely disappointed.

The hotel is allocated by the beach, with swimming pool and bar outside. The rooms are very spacious and we had a view from our window to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful, great service and tasty food.

A perfect holiday in a great hotel

This was one of the best holidays we ever had in Spain. Everything in the HTOP Hotel Caleta Palace was perfect. We had a very spacious family room with all single beds as we requested beforehand and we even had partial seaview while we didn't book a room with seaview!The room was cleaned every day and we received fresh towels. The cleaning team is very professional and did a great job.The staff of the hotel was superb and very helpful and polite. If there was a problem nog matter how big or small they would help and solve it. Even after we left the staff was able to help us. A package was delivered after we had checked out and were on our way back to the Netherland. I explained the situation to Isaac and his team and they made sure I was able to have the package picked up and have it shipped to my house. So a special shoutout to you Isaac.The food (we had half board silver) was very good and diverse. With dinner you could choose different food every day and always a mix of fish, meat or vegetarian and some of the food was cooked in front of you! Our children were also very happy with the food and a happy child is a happy parent. In the morning with breakfast one of the cooks was baking eggs and you had a lot to choose from and the coffee Americano from the coffee machine was excellent.The children were also very happy with the outside pool from which you are able overlook the beach and the sea! The pool was in a very good state and clean and because it was early May there were always sunbeds available. The water was not heated but just warm enough to enjoy swimming. The beautiful tress and surroundings made this feel like a tropical paradise.From the swimming pool you are able to walk down the stairs and go to the beach. The hotel has its own gate that gives you access the beach and with a access code you can always come in again using the gate not matter what time!When you walk north on the Cami de Ronda an iconic historical coastal path you will find amazing beaches one even more beautiful then the other. Just when you think it couldn't be more beautiful an even more beautiful beach would appear in the distance.The hotel is a bit old but it is very well maintained. It is also wat bigger they we expected but that is a positive thing.We will definitely come back here in the future! Greets from family Lier
