    It’s is what it is.

This Hotel gives you what you pay for,Would I go there for my main summer holiday definitely not,However for a quick week away I can’t complain.Only went B&B but ate breakfast out every day apart from the 1st morning. Not due to the quality but due to the eating habits of some folk…..take what your body requires and not your eyes.Room 333 was facing the rear of the hotel but we only showered and slept in there. No complaints, however some have obviously got some real high standards.

    A great budget hotel

    rating04 Oct 2026

First things first - I'm giving this 5 stars in relation to how cheap the holiday was, so the 5 stars is a representation of value for money. I am not rating this as a 5 star hotel, it's quite basic, so to all the people giving 1 and 2 stars - if you want a better class hotel, pay more money and go and book elsewhere. The hotel is in a decent location, approx 10 minute walk to the beach and the main part of the town where all the hustle and bustle is. There are a few restaurants and bars within a few minutes, so if you don't want to walk far, it's fine.I stayed here late Sep - early Oct 2026 with a friend, half board. The food wasn't great but it was okay. Not a great variety but it was fine and most of the time it was hot, although the beans were a bit cold on more than one occasion at breakfast. The restaurant got quite busy at times, but the staff were on the ball, cleaning the tables quickly. There were a few different nationalities here: Spanish, English, French, Polish and more ..... so if you're one of those that like to feel like you're in the UK with everyone around you speaking English, this isn't the place for you.The staff were all helpful and polite and spoke good English. The rooms were basic and looked a bit tired ..... so maybe a bit of an update might help? The rooms were cleaned every day to quite a good standard. There was a safe in the room, although I never used it, so I can't comment regarding the cost or ease of use etc. There was no fridge in the room, although I read online it was possible to hire one, but I never asked, so I don't know if this is the case or not. There were 2 pools, 1 next to the bar and another deeper one in another area. The pool next to the bar had a shallow end, so this was where most of the families with kids usually went. I can't really comment on what it was like at this pool as I went to the other pool where it was a lot quieter. I did notice daytime activities quite regularly around the main pool, although I never joined in as I was usually at the other pool or out for a walk.I can't comment on the night time entertainment as I went out every night and only came back to try and get a last drink at 11.30pm ish.I've only a few issues with this place, they're minor but I need to share them:1. The sunbeds are the solid plastic ones that are very uncomfortable. I ended up going out and buying a lilo to put on top of the sunbed. All of the hotels I've been to in the past few years have upgraded their sunbeds to plastic sunbeds with a fabric base to make it a lot more comfortable.2. There was no kettle in the room and no option to hire one from reception.Luckily we had nice neighbours who bought a kettle for €12.00 and kept lending it to us.3. There was no table on the balcony. The balcony was quite spacious, there were 2 chairs but no table, so sitting out and having a brew etc felt a bit awkward at times as there was no table, although there is plenty of room for a small table.4. No washing line outside. Most of the hotels I've been to have an outside drying line that folds away when you're not using it. There were 2 lines that you can extend in the bathroom that run along the length of the bath, but it's much quicker and easier hanging your wet clothes outside. These 4 points are just minor points and could easily be resolved ..... maybe someone from the hotel will read this and take note? All in all, it's a great budget hotel.Would I come back? It's a big thumbs up from me.

    They prioritise large groups

    rating28 Sept 2026

Stayed at this hotel from the 21-28th Sept. Reception was clean and bright. We arrived at 11am and our rooms weren't ready (to be expected) so we were given a card to the luggage room and told we could have lunch at 1pm but no further details or a map was given. Went upstairs to the bar to get a drink to be told we had to pay as all inclusive didn't start on your first day till 12, even though we'd already been given our wristbands. Drinks ok, always served in plastic glasses but if you're sitting inside request glass and you'll be given them. Food- Fresh grill, meat and fish very repetitive only ever chicken or pork. Chips on offer everyday think we had another potato option like 4 times throughout the week. Minimal vegetables. Salad bar every meal. Alongside other food pre-portioned up on small dishes/plates. Always pasta and sauce. Desserts repetitive, same cakes, rice pudding, jelly daily.Rooms- Very dated and basic but clean enough. They need a good deep clean and repaint but the surface clean was good enough. Only sheets on the bed and no heating so was a bit chilly at night. Plenty of storage, no fridge or kettle. TV had 1 English channel. Balcony okay, 2 chairs no table. Maid would come in if required to change towels etc.Staff- The young lifeguard was absolutely fantastic, always aware, twice in one day he had to jump in for the same child and he got there quicker than the parents who were already in the pool both times, Amazing work. A couple of the bar staff were friendly and would have a laugh. Other than that, staff were quite miserable, wouldn't speak much. The biggest downfall for this hotel is the noise, it is constant. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING that happens next door, talking, laughing, crying, music playing the lot. The hotel is opposite a fire station, a police station and a medical centre so you get sirens continuously throughout the day and night. This hotel accepts very large groups and during our stay we had a group of college/uni students who were noisy, loud and genuinely disruptive, especially at night time. There was also a large group of older people who had their own entertainment provided in the evening in a separate room which went on till midnight, being in room 516 I was right on top of this room and again heard the entire thing, music, singing, talking etc until the early hours was a disturbance.Hotel ok, wouldn't return.
