The hotel has 106 rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     A Budget-Friendly Stay with Fantastic Staff, but Lacks 4-Star Polish

    We stayed at the htop Royal Sun Suites for four nights in mid-September. Overall, it was a mixed experience, with some genuine highlights offset by areas that need significant improvement.First, the positives. The hotel's location is very convenient, with the beach just a short walk away and attractions like Marineland nearby. We also appreciated being able to book excursions directly at the reception desk. The staff truly are the stars of the show; Joan (Juan) in the main bar and Anna were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. For the price, the all-inclusive option offers great value, and the hotel was clean with reliable Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout.However, there were several downsides. The hotel feels quite dated, reminiscent of an 80s time-share that is overdue for a refresh. This was reflected in the basic rooms, where the beds could certainly use new mattresses. The kitchenette in our suite was completely unequipped—no pots, pans, kettle, or even basic cutlery and glasses were provided.The amenities were also a letdown. The rooftop pool is much smaller than it appears in photos, and its bar was closed, which seems to be a long-term issue based on other reviews. The communal areas lacked any atmosphere; there was no background music or TVs, creating a very bland environment. This extended to the hotel's entertainment, which was nearly non-existent. Over our four-night stay, there was only one evening with scheduled activities (a mini disco, karaoke, and bingo). As we often travel out of season, we found this offering shockingly poor for a hotel claiming a 4-star rating.Finally, the environment was not conducive to a peaceful night's sleep due to noise from multiple sources. As we were on the 6th floor, our room was subject to a constant and loud humming noise from the large air conditioning unit on the roof. On top of this, our stay coincided with two school trips where the students were often left to run wild. This culminated on our last night when we couldn't sleep; not only was there loud music from the hotel opposite until midnight, but one of the school groups was allowed to run around the hotel shouting and screaming from 12 AM until 1 AM.While we observed that the hotel seems popular with an older generation and local guests, we were left wondering how it achieved its 4-star rating, as it fell short on the amenities, control, and overall experience we would expect for that classification.In summary: If you are looking for a cheap, all-inclusive base with wonderful staff, this hotel is a decent option. However, if you are expecting modern facilities, varied food, a peaceful environment, and a 4-star experience, you may be disappointed.

    The hotel is located in the small town/village. It’s definitely NOT a family hotel. It’s nothing to do with the kids in this hotel. The pool it’s very small on the 7th floor. The bar was closed there, so you have to go to the ground floor bar for drinks. Very limited snacks between meals, just sandwiches and melon every day. Poor kids entertainment and no play area.We been there August 2025, family of 3 kids.Very helpful and friendly staff.

    A great hotel that's good value for money. Food & Bar great, and close to the beach. A special mention to the reception team who were kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them! Would definitely go again!

    Absolutely loved our stay here. Food, staff and hotel all amazing. Very clean. The staff made this stay amazing, the most polite caring hotel staff ive ever met.

    Arrived and there was only one room booked even though we had the statement of two rooms being booked. Couldn’t fix that issue until the following day so we couldn’t have bands for the meals and drinks until the next day meaning 3 members of our family had to pay for the first evening. Not enough subbed, shockingly small amount for the size of the hotel and that’s the same for the pool. Pets welcome but cleanliness of the rooms wasn’t up to standard.
