  We have been going to Budds Creek track for events past 3 years and this was by far our best hotel stay yet. The rooms are huge. Out door grills and seating area was wonderful for evening dinner.

  There were some positives here, but overall I would not recommend staying here in its current condition.To start with the positive, the check-in attendant was very nice and did her best to help. Unfortunately, it was obvious she was overwhelmed, and there should have been additional staff at the front desk, as the check-in line stretched all the way to the front door. We were initially told our room was not ready even though it was after 4 p.m., though she was able to make adjustments and get us into a room without too much additional waiting.Once we got to the room, though, we ran into several issues. The system on the back of the TV was disconnected, so we had to plug it back in ourselves. There were also multiple maintenance and room-condition problems, including a broken toilet paper holder, a leaking sink and missing items in the room.Since we were only there for one night and leaving at 3 a.m., it did not make sense to have everything addressed right then, but we did make someone aware afterward. This property seems like it has potential, but it needs more investment in both the physical upkeep and the overall guest experience before I could recommend it. Until then, I would suggest looking at other options in the area.

  This homewood suites is very nice. clean and quiet rooms and a lot of free breakfast options. but the star of the hotel is Yaleiny at the front desk. She welcomed me with an honest smile and talked to me like an old friend. She was always very kind and professional.

  We booked for three days well in advance. We checked in when we got the notice in the morning. There were only 4 rooms in the whole hotel available. We wanted to be on the first or second floor. There was one room on the second floor. We put that we would be there at 4 pm. When we arrived at 4 we went to the front desk and got physical key cards. We grabbed a cart and put our luggage on and went to the room. When we opened the door, the room was a total mess. Beds unmade, towels on the sofa. Trash on the floor (including an ice cream container.) We went back and contacted the front desk. They said they would send someone right away, and to come back in an hour. We left our stuff in the room and went to the bookstore. When we returned the place was cleaned and beds made. Wife pulled back the sheets, and it looked more like they just made the bed but didn't actually change the sheets. There were some dirt and black spots my wife pointed out. The housekeeper brushed them off and said it was fine. I checked with the manager, and he said housekeeping did change them. We accepted that and then put our stuff away. We then noticed it was over 80 degrees in the room. We tried setting the thermostat, but nothing worked. We talked to a housekeeper, and she said she would call maintenance, but wasn't sure they were still there. Awhile later, the manager arrived with coat off and tool kit in hand. After about a half hour of fussing, he said it would work now. The housekeeper was there, and she cleaned around the intake and filter area when I pointed out how totally filthy it was. All the duct outlets were covered in filth, but she couldn't do anything about that. The cool air finally came on, and the room got bearable. I then went to use the bathroom, and the toilet was not seated properly and rocked, making a loud bang every time you moved or got up. We put cardboard shims under where we could, and it helped a bit. There were some other issues with trash and towels, but this is getting too long. We've stayed there twice a year for over 10 years and this is just the worst experience we have ever had.

  Great experience at this hotel.Desk staff friendly and efficient on checking in. Room was great, lovely and clean lots of space and very comfortable. Beds were excellent a great night's sleep. We stayed here 10 days, to explore Pennsylvania. The staff here are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Ryan, the manager was great, taking the time to get to know his guests. He has a great team here. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the state highways. There are many restaurants nearby in walking distance, which is great as only breakfast is catered for here. All in all, would recommend this hotel.
