  This hotel is amazing 🤩 I can’t believe how good it is !! There was a lot of things to do such as the pool medi disco ( amazing) golf ping pong and the arcade. Golf was so good we all had a good laugh. The room was good but the show kept letting out some water and it made the floor very slippery and unsafe. The pool was great a little cold at first but it got warmer and the dances in the pool was so good and great for little children. The medi disco was too good when we did bingo and when we did the dance lessons it was just so good. A little thing that wasn’t great was the man at the bar he was a little bit rude. The food was very yummy and the great thing is is that it wasn’t the same every day. One thing I would recommend to improve on is when you are eating and they just take the plates away not knowing if we are still using it for example I finished my eggs but there was still some yolk left so I went to go get some bread to dip in but then I came back and it was gone. And I just want to say how amazing Dani was at that medi disco when he did the dance classes I really enjoyed it and I really hope he sees this because for his first week working here is absolutely amazing. And I wish I could come again ❤️

  Relaxing family holiday on a budget

  We had a wonderful stay at the MedPlaya Hotel Santa Eloi in Tossa de Mar! The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful location surrounded by pine trees, which gives it a relaxing, holiday village feel. The pool area was fantastic — plenty of space for both adults and children, and we never struggled too much to find a sunbed. The kids absolutely loved the mini club and entertainment team, who worked hard to keep everyone smiling throughout the day with the games and pool activities. Our apartment was basic but clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a week’s stay. The buffet meals offered a good variety — some dishes were a little repetitive, but there was always something tasty to choose from that suited a family of five . Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception and in the restaurant. The free shuttle bus into Tossa de Mar was really handy, as it made it easy to explore the beautiful old town and beach without needing a car. We did walk into Tossa de Mar a couple of times and this would take approximately 30 minutes each way . The only small negatives were that Wi-Fi could be patchy in certain areas, and the restaurant could do with a little modernising. However, these didn’t spoil our overall experience.All in all, a great value hotel for families or couples looking for a relaxed holiday with plenty to do. We’d happily return!   Family stay in a castle-like hotel

  On arrival, the hotel made a great first impression – it really does look like a castle, just as it was described. Due to our early morning flight from England, the hotel room wasn’t ready when we arrived at the hotel. The staff were helpful and stored our suitcases in a locked room and allowed us access to our belongings whenever we requested it. Thankfully, we didn’t wait around for more than a couple of hours before the room was ready. We paid a small local tourist tax (around €9 in total for a family of four) and booked for the half-board option, which was ideal. The hotel gave us the flexibility to alternate between lunch and dinner, so we could dine at the hotel or explore local restaurants.The hotel is set in a peaceful, remote location, but there’s a free daily shuttle bus into Tossa de Mar centre. The market on a Thursday in Tossa de Mar centre was nice, we picked up a few bits. Although the minibus only seats 8, the driver was accommodating, making extra trips to ensure everyone got a ride. We also used the public bus network, which was easy to navigate. A family bus card cost €15.50 and covered 15 journeys (scanned per person per trip). We visited Lloret de Mar, which has a beautiful beach and a lively atmosphere.Hotel entertainment was decent – with a kids’ disco daily followed by activities like a magician show, dancing or karaoke in the evenings. Dinner was fairly standard, and although there were occasional queues for seating, the hardworking restaurant staff managed the flow efficiently.All the hotel staff were friendly and mostly English-speaking, which made communication easier for us. One downside for us as non-smokers was the lack of a designated smoking area – smoking wasn’t as restricted as we’d have liked. That aside, the hotel and facilities were clean and well-maintained. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, which was a nice touch.On-site activities were great for families. Our kids loved the foam party, aqua fitness, and the AstroTurf pitch used for football, volleyball, and badminton.   We went on 31/8/25 food disgusting, shuttle bus was an 8 seater, sometimes 20people were waiting,shuttle bus only drops every 2hr then a 4hr siesta If u miss the bus back even though it’s only 5mins away it’s 18/20 euros bk in a taxi, Tossa also shuts for a siesta so u have to travel to lloret for a bit of life,no supermarket on site so your Isolated if u land late u can not get any food only a venting machine , Owner at Medplaya Hotel Sant Eloi, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay.   Amazing!

  Myself, my partner and my 6 year old daughter stayed at the Sant Eloi hotel in Tossa de Mar for 6 nights and I honestly couldn't fault it. From the second we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff were absolutely lovely and all spoke excellent English. We arrived early before our room was ready but the receptionist offered to store our bags for us and we were able to get changed and explore the facilities while we waited for our room. The pool, splash pads and all the activity areas were very clean and well looked after. The room was also very clean with everything we needed including fantastic air con! It was really dark and quiet during the evening so we were all able to get a good night's sleep. We paid for half board and they had a good variety of hot and cold breakfast food and drinks. They also had a good variety of food at the evening buffet but it was mainly seafood. The entertainers were full of energy and always put 100% into everything they did making sure everyone was having a good time. They also had a really good rapport with all the kids which really added to the family vibe. We ended up changing our plans slightly so we could spend more time at the hotel because we were so surprised/impressed with the quality.
