  Wouldn’t return felt it was only for Spanish German french because no one spoke English

  Location good near shops and walking distance to the beach.Atmosphere was okay, we arrived early room wasn’t ready and the girl that was on reception didn’t say where anything was we had to look ourselves, also when we did get get then same girl (small with glasses didn’t say time for breakfast dinner were we had to go for it nothing never experienced anything like that in a hotel ever..Adriana that does the drinks in bar was lovely so friendly and always asking if myself and partner needed anything.and would stop to chat also Michelle in cleaning looking after the rooms was very nice and friendly the two of them were res good staff.Room was ready nice spotless only thing if you speak English tele is in German Spanish etc if you wanted to chill in your room for a bit Room was quiet small but comfortable..I didn’t realise when i booked it was dog friendly hotel I like dogs but you could get the smell, food was lovely but the food was cold every day even going down at opening time but of a let down.hotel Don’t do all inclusive some drinks where silly prices i know it’s a hotel but it understands why it doesn’t.Three pools very very small The rooftop pool was nice if your a couple and just want to relax with no kids around Did have a nice stay was to unwind away together as a couple and work.We left yesterday and said goodbye as we were leaving a girl from the spa waved and said goodbye but the small girl with the glasses was on and totally ignored us which is so ruined, honestly she shouldn’t be on main reception The hotel is a four star would give it a 2/3 maybe Neptuno Hotel, Atención al cliente/recepción at Neptuno Hotel & Spa, responded to this review Dear Jennyy,Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay. While key information such as meal times is provided on the card handed to guests with their room key, we agree that this should also have been clearly explained to you personally upon arrival. A warm welcome and farewell are important parts of the experience we want to provide.We would also like to clarify that English is regularly used at the hotel and our televisions include English-language channels. We are sorry if this was not clear or easy to find during your stay, as our team would have been happy to assist.Regarding the other points mentioned, the dimensions and photographs of our rooms and pools are available prior to booking so guests can choose the option that best suits their preferences. Neptuno is also a pet-friendly hotel, although we follow specific cleaning procedures and rules to maintain the comfort of all our guests. We have also chosen not to offer an all-inclusive board basis as part of the experience and service concept of our hotel.Finally, we are sorry to hear that the temperature of some of the buffet dishes was not as expected.   Our experience at the hotel was really good!Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and were very satisfied with our experience. We particularly liked the food and the selection of drinks, which were of good quality and met our expectations. The location of the hotel was also very good, making it easy and convenient to get around and explore the surrounding area.We also decided to purchase access to the hotel’s spa, which was a great experience. The spa area was very nice and provided a relaxing opportunity to enjoy some extra comfort and luxury during our stay.Another positive aspect was the reasonable prices for food and drinks that were not included in our stay. We felt that the prices were very affordable, and it was nice to be able to purchase additional food and drinks without feeling that they were excessively expensive. This made it easy to enjoy a little extra without it becoming a significant additional expense.If we had to mention one area that could be improved, it would mainly be the information provided to guests. We felt that there was not always enough information about the facilities and services available at the hotel. For example, we only found out later that guests could borrow parasols. This could have been communicated more clearly upon arrival or included in the hotel’s guest information.Overall, however, we had a very positive experience and really enjoyed our stay. With a little more clear and accessible information about the hotel’s facilities and available services, we believe the overall guest experience could be even better.   Arrived to a warm welcome from lovely friendly reception (Barbera was super lovely)All staff are a credit to this hotel !!Allocated a spacious room, overlooking the pool. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of storage and a nice armchair at bedside. Nice size TV but only CNN in English, although this didn’t bother us, as the WiFi was good and all we needed. Bathroom had nice size walk in shower and toilet, but (large) sink unit was in the bedroom which wasn’t to my taste but this was a very small fault compared to the very good standard of the room. We were on the 4th floor but never waited for more than a minute for the liftToiletries provided as well as kettle, tea and coffee, fridge and two complimentary bottles of water. We stayed for breakfast and dinner and the standard of food was superb. Extremely good quality and well cooked. The restaurant had a nice quiet and calm atmosphere, with outside dining available.   I can not understand and bad reviews on this place. It's by far the best hotel and staff we have come across in our time here. Staff are amazing. Reviews degraded breakfast.
