  DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!! Me and my children came to stay at Ona Don Juan and on arrival was greeted by intoxicated teenagers and the glass panel of the premises was smashed and litter everywhere. I went into the premises where I was not greeted by the male receptionist. I kindly asked him to check me and my children in, in which he said “ I don’t take on line bookings leave”. I thought at this point he must of misunderstood me so I got my booking reference out and explained I had booked with on the beach and to use the booking reference. He dismissed me and would not even look at the booking reference on my phone and repeated “I do not take on line bookings leave”. At this point I was scared, worried and upset. I asked the security guard if he could help and his response was a shrug of his shoulders. With little battery on my phone I rang my partner back in England to explain and he tried to talk to the male receptionist in which he completely refused to talk to him. We used the toilet as we had been traveling all day and arrived at the hotel 03:30am in which the security guard escorted us of the premises in which we had paid to stay for our holiday. I could not believe what was happening. Me and my children were walk g around the streets with our luggage at 03:30am worried, scared, shocked, embarrassed and exhausted. My partner contacted on the beach help as my battery was dying on my phone. Luckily a nearby hotel let me charge my phone and let us sit in the lobby while we formulated a plan. On the beach representatives rang me and tried to ring Ona Don Juan in which there was no answer. They then tried to find us a room at a local b and b in which they were unsuccessful. The lady’s response to this was then “you’ll have to try and find alternative accommodation and pay out of your pocket and we’ll refund you keep the receipt”. Luckily the hotel passed on a message to the manager that was due to arrive at 09:00 am, we were aloud to sit in the lobby until he arrived and luckily he gave us a room to take us to the end of our holiday. The whole experience has been traumatic and upsetting. Please do not book with Ona Don Juan! If it wasn’t for the lovely manager at the hotel that me and my children seeked help at I honestly do not know what we would have done.   Well... Description says internet is unlimited in hotel, however they turn off on middle of the day and letting us know it will be available only at the mornings and evenings...   Have just come back from a week stay here of a family of 4 and I am not one for going by reviews as I like to make up my own mind but for once the reviews left are spot on. We were all inclusive which starts at 10.30am and ends at 10.30pm after that you have to pay for drinks. It says on the website there is a roof top bar (which was not open) and a snack bar (no such thing, what you have are vending machines in the lobby). The restaurant was like a stampede trying to get anything it was like people were never fed, they are all on top of you grabbing the food. Food was not nice it was the same food served everyday, was always cold and even one night we got pork and it was raw, chefs are touching the food with their bare hands putting it on trays. Drinks in the machine were warm,the apple juice and orange juice didn't even taste like juice. Rooms were ok but was very warm we had to sleep every night with the balcony door open the air con in the room you may aswell not have it there it does nothing for your room. Evening entertainment was a guy playing what was like 1 playlist that consisted of Spanish songs playing the same ones every night in the exact same order, by night 3 it got to the point of annoying hearing the same music every single night. You also have many tours checking in every day which take up most of the hotel, for the amount of people they have stay the hotel is not equipped for. Even down to sunbeds at the pool theres about 20 sunbeds if your not down by a certain time to reserve them you may aswell forget it. Finally any staff member that we came in contact with were so rude and ignorant and not one bit helpful. I would not consider this hotel a four star like it is advertised its more of a 2/3. I will never stay here again.   My room needed doing up badly although it came with a free ant colony experience.
