Hotel Samba: a hotel that truly surprised me in a positive way

Hotel Samba is a budget-friendly 3-star hotel that pleasantly surprised me. The rooms are being renovated step by step; some are still from an older generation, but they are clean, well-maintained and serviced daily by a dedicated housekeeping team.The hotel offers spacious indoor areas including a dining hall, gym, relaxation zone, and entertainment both during the day and in the evening. Outside, there is a large terrace and a beautiful garden surrounding the pool, with good sunbeds and a separate children’s pool. The outdoor area is generous and inviting; it may get busier during high season, but that’s the case in most hotels in Lloret.Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served as a buffet with a diverse and sufficient selection, frequent variation and occasional themed moments. I enjoyed tasty meals every day. Staff at reception, the bar and the dining area were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.The location is excellent: just above the centre of Lloret de Mar, within walking distance of the bus station, the lively town centre and several beautiful beaches. I’ve stayed in multiple 3-star hotels in Lloret before, but Hotel Samba genuinely exceeded my expectations. A budget-friendly recommendation.

Rooms were lovely and clean.There were different food themes every night, the food was good , options for everyone. There was brilliant activities throughout the day.

Close to beach, clean room , excellent air con, house keeping was good. Food was terrible and always cold. Staff were not friendly or helpful apart from a few. Pool was nice, plenty of beds. Entertainment was so so.

There’s is no point paying for all inclusive when you still have to pay for snacks, ice cream and slushies as these aren’t included with the price and you won’t get told until you get there, the food is the same every day, pasta, pizza chips and salad with a basic breakfast and barley any choice if you like a dessert good luck, they offer one type of cake a meal with yougut/ ice cream and melon. There entertainment is basic, children disco and then followed by the staff dancing or a dj which only play Spanish music which is understandable as it is in Spain.
