    They show 4 * but it is far from 4 Rooms poor , very dated , not to clean either.No English tv , only Spanish .No kettle no iron in the room .The only good thing it is location- close to shops restaurants and beach Would back to callers but to different hotel

    Please, if you are considering booking Summer Hotel Calella, save yourself the stress and disappointment and look elsewhere. This place is an absolute disaster.From the moment we arrived, our room was crawling with ants. Not just a few – they were everywhere: on the bed, under the pillows, on the walls. After what felt like a battle with the staff, we were finally moved to another room, but things only got worse.The “new” room had no electricity. Every time we came back, the power was off. When we complained, we were told to “flick the switch” on the circuit board ourselves – completely unsafe and unacceptable. I refused, and instead my partner had to go downstairs constantly so staff could switch it back on. Can you imagine wasting part of your holiday every single day just to beg for electricity?The food… honestly, I have no words. Stone cold, covered in flies, and barely any variety. We were all-inclusive and couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat there more than once. That should say it all.The pool was never cleaned. A piece of paper floated in it from the day we arrived until the day we left – untouched, like everything else in this hotel.The noise was unbearable. I suffer from epilepsy, and sleep is absolutely vital for me. Yet it was impossible to rest. Every night there were people screaming, fighting, and running up and down the corridors until the early hours. Staff made no effort to step in – instead, they just kept pouring out alcohol with zero limits, fueling the chaos.We complained through Love Holidays, only for the hotel to respond with lies, claiming they had sent an electrician to fix the issue. They hadn’t. Nothing was ever resolvedThis hotel ruined our holiday. It is unsafe, dirty, noisy, and completely mismanaged. Please, avoid this place at all costs – it is nothing but a nightmare and certainly not 4*

    Amazing Stay!

    We came here for 6 days and it was amazing! The food was delicious and a good range of food. Santiago the bar man was so lovely and made you feel welcome. All the staff were very nice. Andrea was so helpful.The rooms were very clean, cleaned everyday and very spacious. We don’t have any bad things to say about this hotel. We were uncertain due to other reviews but i cannot agree with the bad reviews at all. Would recommend and would definitely return!!

    The hotel and location are very good. The service was perfect. The food was decent—not exceptional but tasty and fresh. As for the room, it was clean, with room service every 1-2 days. The bathroom was a highlight, with a spacious shower and two sinks. However, the room itself could use some improvement. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, with a hard, low-quality mattress on legs. Sound isolation from outside, especially the hallway, is practically nonexistent; you can hear everything happening outside the room, and the doors require a hard push to close, which limits sleep, especially if you like to sleep in. These are definitely two areas for improvement.

    Just come back from having week there really enjoyed it it was clean food was OK good selections an drinks was OK just no entertainment on night that all overall was happy with my stay would stay again not far from beech either everything around
