  I spent a week at the hotel. The last time I stayed there was 10 years ago. The hotel has its pros and cons.There’s construction work going on on both sides of the hotel. On one side, a new hotel is being built, whilst on the other, an old hotel is being demolished. This results in a constant din of hammers, drills and bulldozers. It’s practically impossible to relax by the pool. Compared to my last stay, there’s a smaller selection of food, and some drinks that used to be included in the all-inclusive package now have to be paid for, which wasn’t the case 10 years ago. On the plus side, there’s a small gym – which wasn’t there before – and free use of the sauna. What’s more, the evening entertainment is top-notch. There’s a different act every day. I particularly recommend the evening with Carla Habermeyer, who’s brilliant at keeping all the guests entertained. The hotel is clean. The whole staff work hard; special thanks to Joanna at reception and Maria from the main restaurant, who makes the best omelettes in the whole of Spain. Once the construction work on both sides of the hotel is complete, it will be a great place for both long and short stays.   I have just returned from a week at this hotel with mixed feelings. ???? The good points were the beach location and the restaurant and bar staff, who could not have been more helpful, and there was a good selection of alcohol. ??? The entertainment at night was okay; the two singers they had on Tuesday and Wednesday were fantastic. ???? The bad points were that we booked through Jet2 and were emailed before we left about construction work for a new hotel on one side and told we would be placed on the opposite side; however, when we arrived, we were placed on the construction side. ???????? When we went to reception, they said they had never heard about the email from Jet2 and never offered to move us. ???? We also paid extra for a sea view, but as all rooms have a sea view, it was a pointless expense. ???? The email from Jet2 also stated that the building work was from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, but it was actually 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday. ???? To make matters worse, on Monday, they started taking down the hotel on the opposite side, so the noise was unbearable on both sides. ???? According to the Jet2 rep and the hotel, they knew nothing about this, which I find hard to believe; if you are going anytime soon, take earplugs because you will need them. ?? The food was always stone-cold with a poor selection; I have been to better 3-star hotels. ????? The walls in the rooms are paper-thin, so you hear everything around you. ???? I am glad to be home to get a good night's sleep. ???? The sun loungers need upgrading, as most of the plastic ones are broken. ????? Most of the reception staff always looked miserable and were rude; on the last day, when we asked for a late checkout, the lady shook her head no before I had even given my room number, even though the place was half-empty—they must not want you're money. ???????.   Lovely stay at this hotel

  We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and fantastic showers. Balcony was very spacious too.The pool was very cold but welcoming when it gets hot. The jacuzzi feature was very nice and enjoyable.Nice view of the beach, but it is a public walk way/promenade so you dont have much privacy when lounging by the pool.The sunbeds need upgrading, majority of them are old and have zero support. The fabric loungers are mouldy too.Top brands are included in the all inclusive cocktails menu. Very nice cocktails too, the white lady was a personal favourite.Building work for a new hotel next door did disturb our peace a little. It was fairly loud but also, its not this hotels fault.The food selection at the buffet restaurant was just enough for everyone to find something to eat. Not extensive but also, less waste.The breakfast pastries were particularly nice.Overall we had a nice time away.   Great beach front location with a lovely sea view from our balcony. Nice clean spacious room with tea and coffee facilities. Lovely attentive staff in both the bar and the restaurant. Good laid back atmosphere with plenty of sun lounges. Great variety of food with a different menu daily for meals. Bonus at breakfast you could have a cooked omelette or fried eggs however you liked them.Spa was a great addition and included within the all inclusive. Exceptional value for money will most definitely return.
