    This hotel is excellent. They have a great breakfast especially for gluten free options. Lots of protein options. Some fruit and yogurt. The cappuccino machine is great. They are one of the few hotels that have 2 night stands. Spacious rooms. I have stayed here multiple times and will stay again. The only negative on this trip was a huge palmetto bug was in the bath mat. I hate bugs, but I'm from the north, so I guess huge bugs are to be expected in the south.

    4 The staff is always so helpful and kind. I love the 24/7 Espresso machine! They also have a Folgers coffee machine available too. Both are self serve. We saw Cindy again : ) she is one of the night shift attendees. She is always friendly and helpfull. She did remember us from last year. Everyone is super nice.

    Be sure to call ahead, set reservations online with request. Was not met, no contact to check on my reservation to notify needed adjustment to be met. Rooms all booked for what we needed. Was told it was my fault and issue for not calling ahead (which is known now, but online requests are there for a reason......) manager sought no way to refund for 1 room not used and changed reservation configuration for day 2, which was great, but shouldnt have happened in the first place. Much family time wasted. Having two little kids myself, I understand how important it is to have adjoining rooms. While making reservations online or through a call center reservation come to our hotel electronically, We do not get notified of special requests. For the future please call the hotel directly to make sure your request has been received and can be met. We did try our best to accommodate your request. Even though we did not have an adjoining room available, we did find you rooms across from each other. We do understand this was not a perfect solution, but it was the best option available at that time. On the 2nd night of your stay we had housekeeping start early to clean two adjoining rooms to accommodate your request.We are not perfect but we do help all our guests with any special request.Thank You

    Room was clean but unfortunately a biohazard was left in the room. They did not change out the toilet paper between guests leaving a roll with feces smeared all over the side of the roll that was not visible to the user. The hotel management apologized but didn't really appear concerned. A mistake that never should have happened and could put guests health at risk. Vishal Patel, General Manager at Best Western Plus Lexington Inn, responded to this review Dear Discover48172645046,Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. From our investigation and our conversation with you we have found that you check-in at 5:50 PM and used the bathroom after check-in. The next day at 10:45 AM you stated that you saw a stain inside of the rolled up toilet paper. As you can imagine how hard this is to fathom that someone would go through the trouble of tampering with the toilet paper and leaving it for you to find 13 hours later. Our housekeepers when cleaning a room alway throw away first five or six sheets after each check out. As you stated yourself that the room was extremely clean. We take the health of our employees and customers very seriously, and do our best to ensure a safe environment for all of our guests. We are truly sorry for not meeting your expectations.
