    What a difference between last year and this. Last year, newly updated and decorated first floor apartment in Block 6A. This year? A one bedroom apartment on the first floor of Block 1H. Above the apartment used by staff, above the closed hairdressers and opposite the closed restaurant. No sun on the balcony. At least no cockroaches had made it upstairs unlike previous reviews. Although judging by all the dead mozzies squashed on the walls and ceilings, that had been a problem. The air-conditioning unit was held together with gaffer tape...We did have to put up with the noise at "elevenses" (at 10am) for the staff at the restaurant. The cigarette smoke.... apartments are non smoking.For €30 for electricity etc and €7 a night extra as we had the dog, we expected a nicer apartment. We were also expected to clean the apartment before leaving.After a good trip in 2024, 2025 was the pits. Never again.

    Good location , polite and efficient staff . Overall had a good stay , however main points of note . Interiors are very dated and furnishings are basic and functional . If you are looking for a level of luxury this is not it. Unit above us was very noisy on a couple of occasions, sound proofing not great . Pools were great and clean access to the beach on your doorstep . Beach chairs and umbrella nice touch and appreciated.

    Overall horrible place. COCKROACHES and even though we were able to switch an apartment, still had them. Staff looked like they knew about the problem and it wasn’t only in one building that we had those. Beds are awful. Pool is closed in the afternoon, staff is unfriendly and they don’t speak English here. Beach next to is nice, though. Doesn’t feel like the RCI destination we’ve used to. Never coming back to this place.

    Overall experience was very good. Location was great and the staff were nice. Avoid ground level apartments if you can. We had that first and air in the apartment was fusty and there was mold in the bathroom ceiling. There were also bugs in the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Fortunately, we were able to change apartment and it was so much better.

    Honestly this place is like an episode of holidays from hell. Pictures are totally misleading. Complex is exceptionally tired and dated. Apartment is worse. At least 20 years old with no refurb. White appliances are stained yellow. Filthy lampshades and tiles. Air con in one room only. Balcony overlooks disused carpark. Walls are paper thin. Beds are concrete.shower is a dribble. Tried to get our money back within 10 mins of arriving. No chance. No option to move or upgrade. Management honestly couldn’t care less. On the upside alcossebre is lovely. Beach one of the nicest we’ve visited. Just don’t stay at the “Kiona Faulty Towers”!!
