  Great facilities but very poor customer service

  Find somewhere else!* checked in around 5.30pm on Fri 9 Oct, the wait was excessively long (>20 mins).* the common areas were covered in Halloween decorations...we came for a sports theme, not Halloween...* towels are a €20 deposit, told to get them at the Spa but no one was there so had to go back in line at reception instead.* we did an all inclusive package, but wouldn't recommend. The food was fair at best, and you have to book for every meal. But breakfast bookings are only open in the evenings?! Earliest lunch is 13:00 and earliest dinner is 19:30* our package should have included snacks at the buffet between meal times but was never open, nor was the swim-up pool bar* nothing opens till 10am, yet housekeeping will come knocking at 9....you can't even sit by the pool before 10am, you will be rudely and immediately told to leave* the pool area is great, slides are awesome and plenty of loungers around.   This is our third time staying in magic world. We absolutely love every minute of it, there’s so much to do for the kids and the staff can’t do enough for you.   Worst hotel and holiday ever

  We've just returned from a 4 day holiday with family and friends at the magic sports hotel and unfortunately I genuinely wouldn't recommend it especially for families with children. The hotel was extremely run down and no where near what we expected from the way it was advertised. A lot of the place needs a serious maintenance and updating . The surroundings area was another massive disappointment in our experience it felt and looked neglected,run down and honestly depressing . There was missing windows and even broken windows which isn't good when children are about . My children become very ill after eating poorly cooked food to the point where one child soiled there self in the canteen area just after they have eaten . The extra water park that was advertised was not included and cost an absolute fortune. So there wasn't nothing to do for the children only the slides and pool when they are actually open . 2 of the days we was there the outside pool was shut due to bad weather so we thought to use the indoor pool but unfortunately it was raining as bad inside as the outside pool so much so that the life guards were wearing rain jackets that's how run down this hotel really was . This staff are not help ful if you are not Spanish they either say no speak english or tell you to go away . We paid extra to go to magic play zone which was 60 quid for what they said was 1hr session but was kicked out after 50 minutes and was a waste of time and money half machines where broken or turned off and yet again staff didn't want to know they just wanted to play on there phones.the hotel constantly smelled of weed made many compliments but was not taken seriously. We tried to venture away from the hotel for more luck of some happiness but unfortunately the whole turn is just as run down as the hotels it's a absolute joke it's classed as a 4 star hotel. We would never return here even if it was paid for honestly do your family a favor and look elsewhere.   Honestly, there was nothing about this hotel that we enjoyed.The food was awful and we struggled to find anything we actually wanted to eat. The evening entertainment was mostly in Spanish, and the shows didn’t even start until around 10–10:30pm, which is far too late when you’re on holiday with children.The hotel also experienced multiple power cuts during our stay. During the bad weather, the hotel had serious leaks, with water coming through the building and around the lifts. This was extremely concerning and completely ruined the experience for us.There’s also very little around the hotel, so you’re quite isolated unless you have transport.If you smoke, buy your cigarettes before you arrive or on the plane, because we couldn’t find anywhere nearby selling them.You also have to book breakfast, lunch and dinner through the hotel app, which is something we weren’t expecting and found very inconvenient.Overall, we genuinely would not recommend this hotel and definitely would not return. For us, this was a very disappointing holiday from start to finish and certainly not the experience we expected.   Horrendous!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

  We leave tomorrow and I cannot express enough how excited we are to leave, every aspect is terrible. The rooms are ok to be fair, pool is also fine. That’s about all I can say nicely. The food is awful, everywhere!! The couple of restaurants that are around are also very bad, but the food in the hotel itself is shocking, we have practically starved since we arrived last Friday, The staff can be so so rude unless your Spanish, then like someone else said in a review, the rules don’t apply to you, The kids aren’t aloud on the water slides because their “too small” but there was way smaller children who were flying down them because they were Spanish were fine, The smell of weed outside the hotel and coming up the hotel into our room multiple times, Another night we were sitting on a bench underneath the hotel and someone was standing on a balcony above us throwing down what seemed like balls of glass on top of us and smashing them all off the ground. There was constantly security at the door with batons and handcuffs, that speaks for itself, guards and ambulances constantly coming in and out because of how many people were sick from the food, including 5 out of the 8 of us. The pictures on love holidays is not atall what it seems, the area around is so run down, and if you walk around the back of the hotel it’s like a dead town, no life around atall until evening time. Not to mention the flies?? they are everywhere, landing all over your food every time you try to eat, or just constantly swatting them off your body. It’s just so run down and honestly we had a horrible horrible week here and would never return even if you paid us to come on holiday here. Please save your time and your money and book somewhere else.
