Facility

Guests have a choice of 300 apartments located in a 3-storey main building and an auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Perfect overall setting for a summer vacation by the beach

    I stayed for a week with my family and the overall experience was second to none.The Aparthotel system offers one bedroom apartment with an ample living room including a practical kitchen and a terrace overlooking La Barrosa beach, a more than 10km spectacular soft sand sunny beach reachable at 2 minutes walk from the apartments.The apartment concept offers you not only privacy but the possibility of arranging everything as if you were at home, as you can find supermarket and shopping centers at a short walk. You can also enjoy the well organized restaurant and by the pool outdoor cafeteria of the Aparthotel if you don’t feel like cooking.Walking along such a beautiful beach and having occasional dips in the sea is one of the best therapies to recharge in just 5 days!! There are also two large swimming pools to make a perfect finish or complement of the beach experience.The apartment can lodge up to 4 persons (using the convertible coach in the living room) which makes the price per person really affordable for a party of 2 or more.Really commendable!!     Facing the ocean

    Very nice short stay there but liked everything I have seen. Rooms were clean with spacious balcony right facing the beach. Lobby is fresh and staff efficient.Lots of parking space. Although it was october we challenged ourselves to try the pool...and the sea for a swim... refreshing ! LasDunasChiclan...     For such a great location and what should be a super place the reception staff let it down so much. The apartment themselves are very tired and need to be updated. Presses in the bathroom and kitchen are shabby and starting to fall apart. We wouldn’t recommend this place LasDunasChiclan...     Very disappoinred not a four star for service!

    Stayed here for four nights as part of a holiday exploring Andalusia. We booked for the location close to the beach. Location of the property is very good but the service from reception was very disappointing. We arrived at 3pm and in our booking plus telephone call before we arrived we requested a very quiet room as we are light sleepers but when we arrived reception were just interested in taking payment there and then for the duration of our stay without giving us any information about the facilities in the complex. We again asked was the room given to us in a quiet location and we were reassured that it was!! When we looked at the room we asked would it be possible to get a room with a double bed and on a higher level and this was declined. At 9.30 pm music started in the area near the pool the music might as well have been playing in our bedroom it was so loud and this went on until 11.45 pm we are not old fogies but we had a long day traveling and just wanted a quiet night.....When we rang reception asking to be moved they told us they were full and could not help us until the next day. The next day when we arrived at reception almost immediately they an alternative room available by 10.00 am which leads to the question was the room available the night before this left a sour taste and not very impressed at how it was handled. It destroyed a day of our holiday due to the unhelpful nature of the reception staff when we checked in....Generally the apartments are spacious and clean but need updating example chipped crockery and kitchen and bathroom units need replacing.     Good 3 star hotel

    The whole staff is very friedly (Maria José!) and it helps knowing some spanish too. Some tried to speak german but we felt comfortable in spanish.We had a family stay for 9 nights in a nice sea facing apartement. All rooms of the hotel are alike 50m2, just the views are different. We booked half board with buffet breakfast (everyday same same) and dinner (with some good alternatives at the show cooking point). But unfortunatly we found dirty dishes every day and the Chiringito beach bar offered poor drinks (only the Sangria was ok) in a filthy atmosphere (lots of garbage everywhere). This didn't chance even I mentionned it to the waiters.We had to leave our (rental) car in the narrow garage for 12 Eur/Day since everything was full. 80% of Spanish (Madrid) clients stayed there. There was always some space around the 2 small pools since most of the guests use the close beautiful sandy beach with warm atlantic water! 2 beach chairs & 1 umbrella can be rented (6 Euro half day) since all beaches of Spain are public. The "spanish schedule" is quite different as in Switzerland. They eat breakfast around 10.00hrs, lunch at 15.00hrs and dinner at 22.00hrs. Since the sunset was at 21.30hrs a good choice to adapt ourselves. As a travel consultant I would definitily give this Hotel a good 3 stars rate. It is ideal for families with small children.
