    Great deal right in the centre of town

    This is a Hostal, but the description of "small hotel" fits well. Comfortable, functional room and bathroom. Light and airy. €5 breakfast is great value. Staff friendly and helpful. A short walk to the main streets of the old town with many bars and restaurants, and to the dock for the Cadiz ferries. There's no parking by the hotel: you could be lucky in the street nearby (we were on arrival). Otherwise there's a secure underground park within 100m (€4.95 for 24 hours). Room rate of €30 great value. If we are in El Puerto again, we would almost certainly stay here.

    This is our spot to stay when we visit family and friends in Puerto. Maria del Mar, her husband and the entire staff are just outstanding people. Can not wait till they get all of their rooms renovated. No noise and the rooms always clean. Will not stay anywhere else. We did get a kick out of one couple that decided at 1:30 am to take care of business two days in a row,

    I booked the room and turned up at the hotel/hostal (in Spain Hostal just means small hotel, not a hostel) and was immediately impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the reception staff, all was already prepared and the room was immaculate.A nice touch is the small lounge on every floor of three sofas and a coffee table, it meant you could sit in comfort and read if you wished to.The hotel has 24 hour reception so you always hand your key in and collect when re entering. The 24 hour reception meant that there waws a feeling of security that I appreciated.

    Small clean rooms,cheap cont brekkie,older area but close to Cafe,bars,restaurants and shopping.Used as base to visit Gibraltar.Has beautiful White marble circular staircase,don't see the like in Canada.Would stay again in a pinch only
