Location

This hotel is located directly in the old town of Puerto de Santa Maria and is only 200 m from the harbour promenade as well as 3 km from the pretty sandy beach. A selection of shopping and entertainment venues are also to be found nearby and a bus stop for the public transport network is to be found just 300 m from the hotel. Furthermore, Jerez is located 12 km from the hotel whilst Cadiz is around 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1727. The hotel has 24 suites, 8 single rooms and 133 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Authentic and traditional but not a fancy hotel

    Hotel is in a great location and an impressive old building. I wouldn’t describe as four star and is in need of updating, but on a Sunday night for £50 it was great value and we had a lovely time. Staff were very helpful. Would return if the price was right.

    Delightful hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, we enjoyed it so much we returned in the same month!It is an old hotel - so not fancy rooms, but pleasant and great views over the pool, which is well maintained.Good location - easy walk to train station. Good spot to be based at for the sheery triangle!

    Stayed one night and overall thought it was okay. I was expecting a little nicer and better facilities. The room was big enough, had a refrigerator and cool ac on a hot day. It needs to be renovated. The common areas are full of history but it seems like the current owners are just barely keeping pace with upkeep. This place is massive and so many nooks and crannies. I bet it is a nightmare to keep up. If you like history and architecture then give it a try. If you are expecting anything beyond basic rooms and accomodations, set your expectations accordingly. Breakfast was a highlight and they do a nice spread, enough for most people with hot, cold, breads, pastries, fruit...Wifi was open and good. Parking is tricky to get in and out. 10 euros a day. If driving you will need to park here because street parking is non existent.Overall. Average but interesting.

    Large rooms, beautiful building with parking €10 per day and a pool . Fantastic location if you are visiting Cadiz or Jerez - both no more than 15/20 mins away . Lovely little town a fraction of the price in the cities

    The place is ran down the carpet in the room thread bare and stunk of smoke the whole place is like some sort of vast hostel would not recommend itNot 4 star maybe 1 Told reception was rude and did not care
