  Lovely hotel

  Stayed with my family in April 2026. Stayed in a beautiful villa type of room with balcony overlooking the pool . Grounds were immaculate . Pool water was freezing so we didn’t swim but can imagine it’s lovely in summer time . Indoor pool was lovely & the kids loved it . Great padel courts and reasonable prices . Lovely supermarket 3 min walk to the right as you walk out of hotel . Breakfast buffet was great with everything you need and live egg station . Staff at reception were very helpful . We took the fun train to the shopping mall and promenade . The timetable is across the road on lamp post. It’s a lovely neighbourhood . Was worried there would be no kids around but there was a good mix of families , golfing buddies and couples . Only thing I would suggest is ban topless bathing . I don’t think it’s appropriate and should be done on your private balcony . It’s not an adult only hotel .   I am writing to file a complaint regarding our recent stay at this hotel.Value for money: Overall unsatisfactory given the price paid.Positive aspects: The housekeeping and Front Office staff were very friendly and helpful. There were also some activities available for families.Maintenance and cleanliness: The hotel is in urgent need of attention. The rooms showed cleaning shortfalls — dirty glass surfaces, a poorly cleaned shower, and a TV and telephone (for contacting reception) that did not always work. The public areas showed clear lack of maintenance: peeling paint, pool lighting with exposed wiring, cloudy water, and dirty mattresses.Dinner incident (first day): We had dinner on the first day at the buffet, priced at €40 per person, for a group of 7. While serving myself paella, I found a fly fully cooked into the food.I called the waiter over, who fetched a cook. When I explained what had happened, he took the plate from me and walked back toward the kitchen without a word. A second cook then came out, and I explained the situation to him again — his response was to laugh and say "it's normal, we're in an area with a lot of flies." I pushed back on this, as I did not consider it acceptable, and the cook then called over the floor manager, who listened to the exchange without stepping in appropriately. I explained the situation a third time, by now visibly upset, and walked away.At no point did anyone apologize — neither the kitchen staff nor the floor manager. I find these standards of quality and service shameful.I do not recommend dining at this hotel.   4th time and it won't be the last.

  This is an excellent 4* hotel. The lobby area is bright and airy. Breakfast on the terrace is super, with all you expect from a buffet breakfast. The pool bar offers reasonably priced variety of drinks. We only ate breakfast in the hotel. There are a wide range of excellent, great value restaurants in La Antilla. We booked a King Deluxe room which is spacious, but as Diamond members we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The rooms are a little dated, but the housekeeping is very good and we enjoyed our spotless suite. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. All the reception team were professional and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our days at the pool. There was never a problem getting sunbeds and we hardly saw any reserving of beds. The life guard (Jesus I think) is an absolute star. He maintains a vigilant presence but in a sensible way, when he is not there it is not the same! The animation team are a real asset to the hotel. David was the perfect balance of engaging with guests but not in a pushy way. He managed his team brilliantly, he has incredible leadership skills. David and the animation team enhanced our days at the pool.This was our 4th stay and we look forward to returning next year.   Anyone looking for peace and relaxation here, as one might expect at a golf resort, will be extremely disappointed.You are constantly bombarded with extremely loud and aggressive music everywhere you go (lobby, lift, corridors, breakfast room, pool, beach club). As a rule, several different songs are played at the same time – just like at a funfair.It is impossible to relax at this resort; unfortunately, the staff do nothing to change this.Another problem is the massively overcrowded beach club: it serves as a free outdoor swimming pool for everyone. Entry is not checked, even though, according to the sign at the entrance, access is restricted to hotel guests and paying day visitors. The staff do nothing to address this issue either.A major hygiene issue is that hotel guests are allowed to bring dogs onto the hotel grounds (including the pool and breakfast room), and these dogs urinate everywhere.   A holiday inside a holiday

  I stay in over 25 Hilton hotels a year world wide. This is a top class hotel even compared to its older brother ( a Hilton hotel ). Room very modern , location to beach , beach club , town , all great . Pool and gym fantastic. Food was very tasty and buffet was top class. The staff were relaxed, friendly , helpful and professional. It’s a 4 hour far drive from Marbella but well worth the effort . The value and whole package is worth the effort. I will be back .
