  Honest review at first time all inclusive Spanish Hotel

  Pros:?Lovely hotel located with easy access to the beach.?The drink tokens are a good idea, it saves the need for collection of empty glasses; you're going up to the bar anyway, so makes sense to take your empty glasses with you. ?Rooms are spacious with toiletries like shampoo, shower gel, hand soap provided, hairdryer and safe.?Cleaners visit the room daily and will change the bedding if you leave a card that's provided on the bed. If you require clean towels, you put the used towels in the bath.?Drinks are nice and varied with decent wine, beer and sangria provided. Cocktails were good too.?The swimming pool is large and spacious with separate pools for children and one with flumes.?The beach is fantastic with optional well-priced sunbed hire. The bar there is independent from the hotel sells refreshing affordable drinks.Cons:?Nothing much to do around the hotel, a few restaurants and shops which is ideal if you're after a chilled holiday by the pool, but not if you enjoy exploring the area.?The sunbeds are too close together and packed in tightly. Some beds are located near drains that smell really bad.? The air-conditioning is not very good with two vents (in our room) and not a unit that you can control to your individual requirements.The food has pros and cons. The choice and quality is tasty and fresh. Salads, fruit and pasta dishes were good and theme evening meals were good, but always lukewarm. We found the reception and ding room staff friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is pretty and modern. The wristband colour scheme (we had purple) as did other UK guests is in one hand understandable to identify nationalities for language purposes, but on the other hand, felt a little segregated. Other nationalities had predominantly orange bands and I believe white bands were for room only guests. My partner on two occasions noticed that barstaff would stop halfway through a drinks order to serve guests wearing orange bands, which we felt odd and disappointing.We saw the little land train that stops outside the hotel, but unfortunately never used it, but spoke with guests that did and they thoroughly recommended it.Overall we had a good holiday within a lovely hotel with fantastic weather and friendly guests.

  Scout Camp, can't chill there...no more

  Hotel in the middle of nowhere. Only One shopping centre around. Quiet area. Good Titanic bar outside. Hotel is 100% SMOKE FREE !!! For smoke or vape you need to go to small smoking area in the bushes. Hard benches only. No chance for smoke at balcony or somewhere else - they chasing peoples like for crime.Drinks / Coctails - good Mohito and spirits. Can't complain... But... Plastic cups and stupid tokens (plastic coins) you need all the time exchange for drink and later bring back cup for get token back. Restaurant - food is average, see food ok, great pizza. Desserts - awful and every day the same. I've seen situations when security chased man with glass of juice he want take to his room - crazy rules... At pool restaurant no chance even for salty peanuts if you are not fully dressed. Pool - ok, sunbeds set tight like sardines in tin. Spa prices - crazy. You need to pay even for sunbeds and umbrella at hotel beach. Assuming - no more at Estival group hotels.

  Lovely week away

  We had a lovely week away here at the start of September! There was plenty to eat on the all inclusive buffet and they catered well for my boyfriend who is coeliac - all the dishes were labelled with allergens and they served gluten free products on request, however we found enough on the normal buffet. There is also a gluten free area with a toaster too. Right on the beach, and a very nice beach at that.   Absolutely fantastic time was had by all at this outstanding hotel ! From the very kind and friendly receptionist checking us In to the lovely barmaid , restaurant staff and cleaners they were all extremely helpful and polite and always having a laugh at our terrible Spanish, I think they appreciated the effort though !Hotel ideally situated on a stunning beach and has the most amazing pool , it was very appreciated by us that it was a no smoking / vaping hotel and was so nice sitting on your sun lounger without choking . The food was really good for an all inclusive and we ate far too much .We thought the token system worked really well for the drinks and stops glasses being left everywhere , we also loved the fact that you couldn’t take food to your sun lounger as it’s so much nicer sat by the snack bar . We also loved the fact that the lifeguards police the sun lounger hoggers and remove towels , it was so nice to be able to go anytime of day and still get one .Lastly it was nice to go to a hotel with such a lovely mix of nationalities we can’t wait to come back !   A well needed break!

  Lovely staff & reception area. Our room needed some love though and a clean in some areas. The lamp in the living room had a rusty base, I should have took a photo. I have added some other photos of some problem areas in the room we stayed in, nothing major but easily rectified for a nicer experience for guests. And towels falling apart need taking out of use, not given to guests.Was also very disappointed to find the Mexican restaurant was closed. This was not stated when I booked the hotel :(The other restaurant food is mostly the same stuff daily.The area does not have much to do close by or many nice restaurants, but this is not related to the hotel of course. Just a note for if you do not research prior.
