  Immaculate hotel presentation and exellent rooms, very polite and helpful staff throughout. Great facilities and good access to a wonderful beach.   Reception staff, went the extra mile ensuring our stay was fantastic

  On arrival, things got off to a set back start. That is the room, I picked and booked some 9 months before was now not available. We were offered a similar room 340, and not charged for the original booking. We also, were advised that there would be some food in our room as dinner was not an option. There was not.Next few days, I was in contact with the service desk about our room and that a family has now booked in beside us. It was then, I got to speak with Sophia on the front desk. Her expertise in solving my issues were excellent, she offered me a junior suite room 316. But I would need to make a contribution to same, but sometime later Sophia rang back and informed me she went the extra distance and took our case to a director, Sophia was able to get us the upgrade at no extra cost. Excellent work Sophia. In respect to rooms, food, entertainment, facilities pool etc fantastic. Some issues around parking hire car, a suggestion for car parking would be to reduce the hotel parking rate to that of car parks externally. Well done to all involved, on our stay. We will be back.   The most beautiful beach hotel I have visited in Europe! The staff were so lovely as were the rooms, pool & beach area. The beach bar & restaurant were particularly nice. The only bad thing was the pool towels @ the beach - head down there early otherwise you have to sit in the bar/grass area!   Not good for families with little children

  Not what we expected from a 5-star hotelWe were excited to stay here as a family and booked a family room, expecting comfort and relaxation. Unfortunately, our room was located right above the lobby bar, where loud live music is played every evening.The noise made it very hard for our 6-year-old to fall asleep, and it definitely affected the quality of our stay. When we contacted reception, we were told that the music would end around 11:15 PM and were simply asked to wait.For a hotel of this category, we expected better soundproofing or at least more understanding towards families with young children. I would recommend checking room location carefully before booking.   50th Birthday Celebration

  Had the pleasure of staying here in June for my 50th birthday with another couple. Firstly this hotel is beautiful. The newly renovated hotel is stunning. The staff are so helpful and friendly and took a great deal of care and interest in us over our week long stay. Check in was easy. Glass of fizz whilst we waited. I was very lucky to have worked as part of a Thomas Cook group 20+ yrs ago when they first went into this area so it was great to see how it had changed. It still has the peaceful atmosphere and you could go and disappear here and not be bothered. I was very fortunate to receive an upgrade, to a suite with its own pool. We were very spoilt, this was such a treat. The beach bar and beach are fab with all the views you’d love, beds readily available. Food at the hotel is delicious. We did a themed night and it was great, take your appetite with you is my only advice. The breakfast is vast and you can have in or outdoors. We ate at the pool bar most days and honestly it was some of the nicest food we had. Theres a range of entertainment free too. Wine tasting, Spanish class, beach walks etc etc. There’s a coffee shop on site too with the friendliest team with pastries and snacks and a very good coffee. We caught a cab/bus into Barrosa on a night time for some other bars/restaurants but there is a shopping centre across the road with a few bars and restaurants there too if you wish for a change of scenery and a shops for other needs including some for the golfers. There are many courses close by too. We easily caught the bus into Chiclana and made our way to Cadiz and Jerez too in the daytime. However, the hotel does day tours to various places and have a dedicated desk for that if you don’t have a car. If you don’t want to leave the hotel, dine in at one of their restaurants or stay at the bar and watch the evening entertainment. Love this hotel and the staff are an absolute credit to you. Thanks for looking after us and making our trip one to remember. I hope it’s not 20yrs until we see you again.
