  A simple pleasant holiday in Conil

  Nice location, good food, friendly staff, beach access, walking distance from the interesting old town of Conil de la Fontera.As we are celebrating our civil wedding anniversary, we inquired if paying a room upgrade is possible, however declined… perhaps due to availability. But we were given a chance to choose between two room locations. Appreciate the complimentary bottle of champagne as wedding anniversary present.   Future construction works

  Looks like there is a start of a construction site next to the hotel leading to noise and dust issues while clearing the site. While we stayed the land was being cleared and we could not use the balcony during the day. There are plans for a big development that could take several years to complete and ruin the partial sea view.   Fantastic family holiday, beautiful hotel in a wonderful cliff top location offering lovely views to the fabulous sandy beach. The hotel was spotless & every staff member couldn't do enough & always had smile on their face. The extensive buffet breakfast was second to none offering lots of choice. A twenty minute stroll through a wooded area along a boardwalk takes you into the delightful whitewashed pretty town of Conil with lots of local Spanish bars & restaurants which was right up our street....If you are looking for a typically authentic Spanish holiday experience in a spotlessly clean four star hotel look no further, well done Hippotel!   A wonderful stay in a beautiful setting.

  We had a wonderful few days at Hipotel Gran Conil. We didn't expect a sea view but were given a room at the end of the corridor with a spectacular view of the pines and the ocean. It was also very quiet - we heard no other guests. We paid an extremely reasonable price, including breakfast - which was varied and plentiful. There was a complimentary bottle of water in the room on arrival and the mini bar fridge was empty for our use (you can buy mini bar packs as you like but we prefer the fridge for fruit and water).The staff was consistently friendly, polite and helpful. The location is fabulous. A wooden walkway to a spectacular beack. Walking route from the doorstep along the coast with stunning views. Conil is a beautiful and vibrant town with many shops, bars and restaurants. The pool is large and great for swimming and having a gym on site is a bonus.This is the most relaxed I have felt in years. Thank you Hipotel Gran Conil. We hope to return one day.
