    Clean and quiet!

    rating24 Jul 2020

Hello,We booked a triple room next to the garden for one night. It had a quiet exterior terrace and it was clean and big enough for the three of us.The staff was very friendly and helpful, we had a really nice experience there. It is super close to the beach and to nice restaurants and pubs for entertainment, just in the heart of Chiclana’s summer life.Notice that because of Covid they are not offering breakfasts anymore, we booked through Booking and it gives you the option so we had to ask for a refund of it, which we got without problem.

    Beautiful & tranquil!!

    rating18 Sept 2019

Found this beautiful little hotel on Trivago. My husband & I we’re on a road trip & we found it easily enough via Google Maps.We parked on the street as there’s no on-site parking. The hotel was welcoming as soon as you walked in. Beautiful flowers & an immaculate court yard. The receptionist didn’t speak any English but that was fine, thanks to my very basic Spanish & yet more help from google, we got by.We were taken to our room & given 2 keys. 1 for the room & 1 for the outside gate which is locked at 10pm.The room was lovely, has A/C, a spotlessly clean bathroom, a mini fridge, flatscreen tv with USB & HDMI ports! There’s even Tea/ Coffee facilities (the Spanish don’t seem to do this). We had the best nights sleep, due to the very comfy bed/pillows & the dark wooden shutters, there was no light whatsoever or noise. Completely tranquil!Location wise, it’s superb. There’s little a Spanish shop 2mins walk, he sells everything!! We picked up water for our room, some beers & snacks. The beach/ bars/ restaurants are all about 5mins walk away. Will definitely stay here again, as we frequently visit the area!

    Time to relax

    rating22 Jun 2017

A very clean and tranquil place. In my view this place is typically of the area. Andalusia. It has Beautiful patios under pine trees. The hospederia is very close to the La Barrrosa beach 2min walk across the road. The area also has restaurants and small supermarkets close by. It was easy to get to the hospederia by car.

    Lovely setting!

    rating22 Jun 2017

This unique hospederia is in a beautiful setting, well maintained and clean. The rooms are of an old fashioned style, but very comfortable. The service is friendly and welcoming, the only thing not on offer is a restaurant, but no problem as it's close to numerous bars/restaurants on the Main Street and on the Paseo Maritimo. The amazing playa Barrosa is a few minutes walk, so the hospederia is well located. It's also quiet at night, but if you want to sleep turn off the mini fridge as it makes a lot of noise. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again.

Beautiful entrance but so so room. No breakfast!

    rating05 Jul 2016

The entrance really is magnificent. We expected the room to be the same. Unfortunately it wasn't. Very small bathroom and not much space in the bedroom either. Our friend stayed upstairs and was awake all night because of the wind howling underneath his door. Reception staff wasn't looking very happy to be alive. Sad girl, not in the mood for smalltalk. Which is ok. But she didn't inform us either. The gate closes at night, no one told us. There are sunbeds available for guests to take to the beach, no one told us. Such a shame, with a little bit of better service this could actually be a good, average B&B, without breakfast though. Would not stay here again.
