    Great hotel but disappointed in the room

    Perfect location to quickly and easily get around the city. Good atmosphere. Room did not live up to my expectations though, it was very dirty in the corners, the wood around the sliding door to the balcony was rotted and the door did not open well. I was disappointed in the room overall especially for the price of the room. It was very quiet even with our room right by the elevators, I was very happy about that. The services were great, everyone was super friendly and helpful and the valet service was top notch. Enjoyed and were very happy with the amenities. Overall we were glad we picked this hotel for our stay and would love to stay again if you can step up the cleanliness and appearance of the rooms.

    The staff at the DeSoto was professional and friendly. The accommodations were spotless and we had everything we needed. The location is excellent an is within walking distance to most all sights.

    Savanna GA room 310. we love this hotel been here a few times. I was put off a little as I am a veteran and asked about the veterans discount. I was told you have one but they told me since I booked it on your website I could not get it., they told me I had to call and make a reservation to get the discount. I asked if they could do it at the counter for me while checking in but was told no. Having been to the hotel several times in the past and always had a fantastic stay I was shocked they could not apply the discount at the desk. Thank you.
