A very nice hotel

Such a nice hotel .. the web site photos don’t do it justice . Rooms are large .. bathrooms large with so many shower attachments ! Breakfast is excellent . Pool area was quiet . Great location for the old town and seafront . Also for the ferry to Cadiz . Hotel was very quiet when we were there so no bar area open but a good restaurant on site . Very pleasantly surprised with the whole stay .

Overall a lovely hotel with very nice staff and also a bonus to get a kettle and small fridge. Great location too on the beach and in the town.

Nice, clean, rooms had a great view. However, with this level of hotel and the length of our stay I excepted a little more. We were never greeted by the front desk workers when we came in and for a week stay we were only given a bottle of water once. So, if you are coming from another country and are excepting 4 to 5 star service like you would receive in other places, you will not recieve it here.

Our first visit to Rota and Hotel Duque de Najero . Reception was very courteous, helpful and spoke English ( be aware English travellers that it is not commonly spoken in this area so have your Google translate ready or do a Duolingo course before you go) Facilities were amazing and the rooms are very spacious with bath and showers. Very plush. Big thanks to the cleaning ladies who kept our room spotless , changing sheets regularly ( hospital style) Breakfast was varied and plenty of choice. Don’t miss the lady who will do you omelettes or pancakes. Quiet, pool and very helpful lifeguard. We had a brilliant stay here.

Lovely room Excellent bathroom with super powerful shower. But only one small bottle of water for the four days we stayed there. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Lots of choice. Good pool area with an elevated terrace overlooking the sea. The bar there is great and super cheap but has limited hours. Great location with loads of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Only downside is being woken by the church bells chiming multiple times at 8 in the morning. The gym isn’t really adequate. No free weights and €12 for a session in the sauna is very pricey. There is a gorgeous main bar with a balcony overlooking the pool but it was never open the wholetime we were there. Even thought the hotel was full. Lovely place to stay if you’re visiting Rota.
