This attractive golfing hotel lies in the south of Spain and around 3 km away from the nearest beach. The hotel is also situated close to countless shopping venues, bars, nightclubs and restaurants (within 3 km). Links to the public transport network lie about 2 km away and Malaga airport is around 110 km from the hotel. Marbella is located around 60 km away and Malaga is roughly 100 km from the hotel.

Facility

106 rooms and 3 suites are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing.     A very impressive modern hotel, beautifully clean, warm and inviting. From first contact with reception to book in to departure the following morning, each and every member of the team was friendly, polite and keen to help. The room was perfect with super shower and facilities and the most comfortable of beds.....breakfast was self service and had a large array of options.     Perfect Stay for Golf Lovers in Sotogrande

    I had a fantastic stay at Encinar Sotogrande, it was the perfect base for a golf getaway! The hotel has a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and everyone was friendly and attentive.The location couldn’t be better if you’re here for golf, just a short drive from Valderrama, La Reserva, and Almenara, some of the best courses in Spain. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out to play.My room was comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped, with everything I needed after long days on the course. Exactly what you want on a golf trip.I’ll definitely be returning to Encinar Sotogrande on my next visit to the area.     Really bad Hotel

    Bedroom is the best feature. Service is provided by 2 people only. Reception useless. Credit card went missing no urgency just not us…Middle of no where. Pool closed. Just full of retired people and hotel replicates their service needs. Anyone in business and needs different requirements and urgency you don’t get it. A grabbed a plate from the restaurant as reception was to charge £8 for room service. The plate was ready to use, but had food on it. Clearly dishwasher and checking quality is here in this hotel. Sadly another 3 days here as they wanted payment upfront. No wonder as they clearly have no way of being held accountable for such service.

    Renovated hotel in Sotogrande

    The hotel looks as if it has been refurbished shortly. The lobby looks really nice and also the rooms are modern. But in my room some mold was seen on the walls. Apart from that the room was nice. Also at the patio some better maintenance would be needed.Staff was not particularly friendly and also the breakfast offering was only just average.
