  Lovely location but don't expect managment to be pro active if you have a problem

  We were 3 couples in our late sixties and stayed here for a week and enjoyed most of it. The Staff were very friendly, the facilities were good, the rooms were very good, very clean and comfortable. It was very busy and in the dining area and self-service food areas people were constantly going around trying to figure out where everything was. The specialist dining area where we were aloud one lunch meal was very disappointing.Our biggest issue was that cats were allowed wander in one section of the dining room. One of our group is frightened by cats and when on of the other guests started feeding them we requested she stop, She became very agitated, continued feeding the cats plates of food and pored water over one of our party. The staff became involved at this stage and as she was being escorted out she assaulted one of us with leaving the person very dazed. This was all unfortunate, but what upset us most was the silence from hotel management both during the rest of our holiday and since. No one followed up to make sure one of their guests was ok. A hearing aid was damaged but that’s not the issue. The hotel had a duty of care and pretending it didn’t happen is not how to deal with problems.We loved our holiday and will stay in Iberostar hotel in the future. I hope the hotel management read this and improved their systems

  Not a good dining experience

  Location was very quite, no town nearby. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach. The hotel is very nice but the dining room is extremely noisy and very busy.   We were 7 nights from August 26th to September 2nd in this hotel. We booked based on glowing online reviews and an impressive 4.7-star rating, but unfortunately, the reality fell far short of expectations due to severe operational flaws and subpar dining.?The Positives:The property itself is undeniably striking, featuring beautiful architecture situated right next to a fabulous beach. The pool area is very nice, offering two large pools alongside three dedicated pools for babies and children. Our guest room was a bright spot—exceptionally spacious with a stunning sea view and a terrace equipped with a swing and bouncing chairs.?The Major Issues:Despite the physical appeal of the resort, critical failures in cleanliness, food quality, and dining standards severely ruined our experience.?Mediocre Food Quality: The culinary offerings were exceptionally poor, feeling entirely out of place for a four-star property. The food quality was very mediocre throughout the stay, failing to meet even basic hotel dining expectations.?Dirty Cutlery and Glassware: Every single day, guests were handed dirty glasses, forks, knives, and spoons.?Unsanitary Dining Tables: Breakfast and lunch tables featured placemats that were consistently left dirty with food remnants from multiple previous guests in some cases moldy.?Pest Infestation: Most shocking of all, a cockroach was found in the dessert buffet on two separate occasions, with others spotted crawling on the floor.Pool Area Cleanliness: Sunbeds in the pool areas were dirty, and garbage constantly littered the grounds. Housekeeping practices around the pool were deeply flawed; staff washed the floors with water every morning without collecting the trash first, leaving soggy napkins and debris trapped underneath and around the sunbeds.?The severe issues regarding the buffet were raised with the hotel managers multiple times throughout the week. Management merely feigned surprise and did virtually nothing to resolve the problems.?Given the poor food, lack of basic hygiene this is not a four-star hotel at all, does not meet the Iberostar standard we have experienced all over the years in diferent locations and it is impossible to recommend.   Beautiful Spanish family holiday hotel ????

  We loved our stay and really appreciated how authentically Spanish the whole experience felt. The atmosphere around the main family pool was fantastic — lively, friendly, and always something happening, from yoga sessions to bingo. The entertainment team kept the energy high all day, and the resort’s focus on Spanish culture was something we genuinely valued.The beach was beautiful and incredibly busy right into the late evening; we’ve never seen so many people enjoying the shoreline at once. The buffet food was of a good standard for a 4-star hotel, and drinks were available at both the lobby and pool bars, with the option to upgrade for certain bottled beers or gins.Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the entire resort. We also loved the added touch of the Star coffee shop. The local area is lovely too — we recommend taking a bus or taxi to La Bossa, which was buzzing in the evenings. We would certainly return in the future.
