  We stayed at the Leo 4 and so far we are having a great time, except at night...Not the hotels fault, but the guests sometimes are REALLY loud and can disturb your sleep. It was 2 am when some of the guests were in the hallways vaping and making noise. The walls are really thin and the windows can't isolate a singular sound...But the pool is really nice and everything was really clean and washed as we arrived. Staff at reception was really kind and explained everything to us very well. I should say though, we're staying for 3 nights and we did have to pay for parking (separately) inside of the garage. It costed 8,50€ per night spent. For the considerate price, it is a good experience. You only have to walk one km to the beach and the seas here are warm and amazingly calm. Rooms are equiped with (a bit loud) but nice AC's. The couches do have a bed built-in and the baths are really enjoyable (except for the fact you can hear your neighbor showering too, lol) but in the end, considering it's the cheapest building, costing around 388 for 3 nights, then it is a great experience. Nonetheless, I'd recommend it, it's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in this region.Ps: we loved the balcony. It has a nice table, chairs and even a clothing rack. And yeah, they do provide stuff so you can iron your clothes.

  Cancelled after we arrived no apology nobody on the desk it took us an hour to find out they were going to cancel. Rubbish contact nobody answered the phone really could not be more useless customer service is appalling didn't care about anyone

  just don’t bother - find another hotel nearby

  we booked online for €217 for two nights with a dog.when we arrived we were charged €280 + another €14 for parking - not quite sure how this is, but after a 10 day drive from the UK we just wanted to get our heads down. we asked about information for the parking as we had a roof box & it’s underground, instead of allowing us to attempt to get the car in before parting with more money, we got told to “visually look” if it will fit. Not quite sure who’s memory is that good they know the exact height dimensions of their car without it being there when comparing it to the roof of a car park down a slope? No water provided in the room, which when paying €147 a night, you would expect & don’t think is much of an unreadable ask..We then asked for late check out as our ferry back to the Canaries isn’t until midnight, leaving us 13 hours after check out in the baking heat, with a dog with nowhere to go... (at an extra €40!) to get told it’s not possible. No explanation for this either, looking around the hotel, it is nowhere near capacity & still available for bookings online from our check out date also so not quite sure how it’s not possible?I would NEVER recommend anyone booking this place, a complete rip off & the staff clearly have no interest in helping their guests, or even providing them a half decent service!

  Only if you're looking for a basic holiday

  Visited for two days (one night) in July with family of 4 (2 kids of 3 and 1). Weather was not so good the first day but awesome on the second.Location is very close to the beach and shopping center. Supermarkets are also close by. Not lots of outdoor parks though. Swimming pool and rooms are OK if you're on a budget. Our room was clean but had no hairdryer. Some staff are friendly but please bear in mind the rooms are not available from 5pm (might be later than that) and check out is at 11am.   Leo punta umbría has several hotels in a row. We stayed at III, which is for adults only. The aesthetics of the hotel and the room are quite 90s I would say, but the room was spacious. The cleaning level was ok. The location is not far from the beach (5mins with car or ~20 walking). The room had no hairdryer and the one we got from reception was not working properly. If you have a car you need to pay 7 euros a night to get it into the parking of the hotel, which I find a bit frustrating. The people in the reception were very friendly and they talk english, however, in the small cafe which is part of the hotel, they don't even try. In general, the area is not very international and they don't speak english even in most restaurants and shops.
