  Absolutely great! Top location! Very nice and helpful staff! Rooms are large, clean and quiet! Bedroom has good space. Garage available upon extra payment. Came here for a business trip and felt very comfortable. Muy bien, perfecto! Muchas gracias!

  Comfy room in old Spanish manor house

  Lovely old Spanish manor house. Rooms based around the central courtyard. Comfortable, no frills room with comfy bed, good sized towels and lots of hot water. Great little bar downstairs with many locals popping in for drinks. Very easy flat walk into the centre of Sanlucar with a vast array of tapas bars, restaurants, cocktail bars to choose from. Beautiful beach not too far away. All easy walking as is flat. There is also a high area which is not too difficult to access by foot. Well worth the effort. More bars, old bodegas and lovely buildings. Highly recommend a visit to Sanlucar. We loved it.

  Nice but simple with a great location.

  Nice stay at great location. Hotel is situated near the main square which has a lot of nice cafes and restaurants and it is about a 20 minute walk from the beach.Staff is friendly and speaks some english. Downstairs is a cafe where the local people go and it serves good coffee, some breakfast items, etc. Very friendly man behind the counter. Prices are very good.The hotel is a grand place which has been kept up. Room was simple but big with little in terms of luxury or accessories. Toilet paper comes in a big plastic box with a handle to be pulled for paper to arrive. It was an experience to get the paper and it was rather hilarious. The shower has a white plastic soap/shampoo dispenser which does the trick. Bed mattress is foam type, comfortable but not supportive. Small pool on the roof.WiFi upstairs and in the rooms is lousy and to get anything done one must sit near the lobby. Paid parking right under the hotel.All in all a nice but simple experience.

  Excellent small hotel centrally located next to Praca de Cabello in Sanlucar. The hotel has all facilities, including a small roof-top pool. Unusually for Sanlucar there is also a garage which is very useful, but be warned access and egress are very tight, especially if you have a large car!

  Wifi not working

  Central, nice size room and bed. Aircon ok. No shower curtain in the bathroom so the whole floor is wet after a shower. Really annoying! Does the maneger at this hotel think that investing in a pole and a shower curtain is too big investment?Wifi was not working in my room (no 22). After a reset it worked some time but then stopped working. I told (again) about the problem to the man at the front desk (evening shift now) and he said (I guess - his english was limited) that they new about the problem about getting wifi in room 22...? So I asked to change room as I needed to book hotel for the next day. He refused and told me to take my laptop the the reception area.....?Well, ok, that might solve the problem about getting connected. I did book my hotel room from the front desk area, but that is not the issue.The issue is that the hotel is advertising that there is wifi in the room. That is why I booked this hotel. I don't want to sit in some common area with noise and disturbance, I want to be able to sit at my room, nice and quiet, and use the internet.So they let the potential guest believe they will get wifi in the room for the price seen on booking.com. You then, as a customer make your decision and book a stay, believing this hotel suit your needs for surfing in your room. Then You show up and then - no wifi.This is called "false advertising" when the hotel clearly knows that wifi not working in room 22, and that is illegal.If You had the option to book this room at a reduced rate with the warning clearly written, that "THIS REDUCED RATE IS IN A ROOM WITH NO WIFI" - well then it would be fine. The the customer could make his decision based on facts.Running a hotel must be a long term investment. If I was hotel maneger I would rather make the one time investment paying for sufficient wifi covering all of the hotel, that goes for shower curtain as well, in order to get happy customer spreading the word, in stead of saving a bit of money and get angry customers telling their friend to stay away.Quite a lot of unhappy hotel guests must have stayed in room 22 over the years...When I checked out and the woman at the front desk said "see You next time", I said "that will not happen", and told about the issue, she just smiled and clearly did not care.A professional way to react to a complaint would be something like "I'm sorry that the wifi did not work and that the staff were unable to move You to another room, but I promise I will pass on the complaint to the person in charge, and we will of course as a plaster on the wound give You a discount".
